Sure! Here you go....

Welcome to the June Pick Four Challenge!

For this challenge, you can set goals in ONE to FOUR activities. You can participate in one activity, or two, or three or four. It's up to you!... You define the activities. You set the goals. YOU decide, and set your goals accordingly.

To participate:
Sign up on this Google spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0An7ZkKfHG1L1dHQyaHBDeFJ...

If there are enough participants, this will be a team challenge. Otherwise, this will be an individual challenge, with occasional taserings updates provided throughout the month.

The ultimate goal of this Challenge is to push yourself in an activity (or activities), to work out, to meet fellow BTers (virtually or otherwise), and to have some fun!

Hopefully, this Challenge will give you a little extra incentive and motivation to succeed at your goals – whatever they may be.

Welcome to the Challenge!

- Dee

I am in some of my goals are less this month but its because I am having surgery (Trigger thumb release ) and I am not sure how long it will take to heal. and when I can swim and bike safely. If things heal faster then normal I will up the goals.

Help me out here. I use "crickets chirping" all of the time but do you remember where it first originated? Was it a movie, a commercial, a book? I can't remember and then when I use the expression around some people, they ask me where I got it.

I'm in. Didn't want to update the spreadsheet from my kindle and I am not getting to my computer much right now. I have a couple of rides to log.
I have been in the water but only with the kids.
80 miles running, 15 hours bike 10 swim session, and still contemplating the 4th category- maybe something to do with one on one time with each kid and spouse during the week.

It is an old saying, folks have used it all my life, but it was in a commercial in the not too far past. I can't remember which one now though. AAAGGGHHH now I need to know.

I am in and will post my goals to the spreadsheet tonights (right now I'm thinking Swim 25,000 yards, Bike 300, and Run 50). This is my last full month of training leading up to my first Half Ironman in July, so it will be great for me. I also know that Peto will push me to complete all the goals I set

You know I will
Besides, if I can approach or exceed those just getting started on a sprint plan (ok, except for that swim part) , you should crush them on a HIM plan (although I suppose I never exceeded 50 miles really til I ramped up to IM )

Have a great month and I look forward to reading about the progress - then the fantastic Racine race report.

If you want unprepared for a Half Marathon, check out my prep for one last August. I was behind planned training anyway - especially after ending June with a 2 week vacation. Then I pulled a calf muscle the first of July. Ran 2 or three times the first part of August just to see if I could - then went and ran it on Aug 10 -
You have 33 days, there is still time to make improvements, better to be under trained the over trained.

As for my last goal - it stems from welcoming our 5th child the end of May and already seeing how our oldest son already seems to need the attention(assurance that he is still important in our lives)

I'm in!!! Let the plank challange begin.

But I am really looking forward to seeing how I do. Looking at my four month plan make the work seem so long and drawn out. I'm happy to see my goals broken down into just four weeks. Something even I can do, hopfully!

will have to lower my swim goal. Doctor said no swimming for two weeks. Not sure about the planks as my thumb needs to heel ( trigger thumb release surgery) He did say I could run tomorrow. Not sure about riding my bike outside until it heals it might be hard to break so the trainer it will be for now

I'm in on the challenge too. I wasn't sure if I would join since this is going to be an odd month for me with all of son's baseball and then vaca. But I liked Scott's idea about 1 on 1 time with family so much, I decided to join and borrow his idea. Goals entered.

The Boulder Peak bike course is legendary. It is, literally and named as such, one of the toughest bike legs in the country.
