Pandora vs. recording artists

As a weekend musician, I understand the costs involved in recording music, and that is if you do a lot of the work yourself with the digital products today.  People that use large studios pay a LOT more in a day, compared to what we put into a single CD.

I think they should get paid from Pandora and also the radio stations.  But, it is hard to make money in the music industry, because everyone copies and shares music.  Just like people copy and share DVD movies.

I don't have a good solution to the problem.  I usually buy a CD from a small musician that is selling his CD's during his breaks from playing live music.
