I was looking at the course maps for the Toronto Island Sprint (end of August) and realized how many loops both the bike and run has. In the past was there a timing mat at the turn-around points to keep people from skipping a lap?

The challenge? The accomplishment? I want to do this because it is an opportunity to live life. The event is an indoor sprint triathlon. I get to experience the challenge on a safer scale.
