There are literally hundreds of organizations dedicated to encouraging girls in math and science, and then we have shirts like this. Ugh. Headdesk, indeed.

But when little Susie grows up, she just has to make a pizza tape like a Kardashian. You are all just jealous. |

Second, it boggles my mind when I see people wearing shirts that basically say `I'm stupid.' There's nothing wrong with being stupid, but you don't have to let the entire world know! I still see guys my age (late-30s, for now) wearing shirts that stupid or sexist or degrading, and they just are proving to the world that they're not smart. Personally, I wear a lot of Ed Hardy gear and Affliction Ts because those are awesome. |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I was at the mall for the first time in probably two years and I couldn't believe how many people were wearing shirts with profanity on them. I'm definitely no prude, but I found that enormously offensive. Regarding the people wearing the "Stupid" shirts, maybe it's just the truth in advertising laws? |

Maybe it's different as a joke, and as an adult, and if you never wear it? Maybe? Still kinda cringing. |

lol, my brain isn't quite working today. When I saw your first post I thought you actually "liked" the shirt. I thought that was a little odd, but now it all makes sense. lol I'm not sure what I'd call it, but there does seem to be a lot of popularity with "I'm dumb" type of attire these days. Perhaps it's just a counter culture thing trying to embrace stereotypes, but who knows. |

Not wear clothes like that. That (expletive) makes me so mad! (many more cuss words had to be edited out of this post) I wanted to grow up like LB's kid, but alas.. I really sucked at sports, but not for lack of trying. I went out for track and trained harder than anyone.. but was pretty slow. I continued on my own though, running for fun and fitness. I spent my teen years playing music, taking dance lessons, and really excelled at those activities. Kids have to find their own passion. My son has no interest in "real sports". But he likes karate and science stuff. The one thing I am dedicated to that he NOT excel at, is video games. Edit: These type of t-shirts on boys really tick me off. And you exposed your kid to various activities, and he's not inactive and interested in education. Karate is great! He's not sitting at home or going shopping and wearing shirts like that. |
