I'm still holding out hope that Area 51 is like the movie Independence Day.  This was my favorite movie from my childhood.  I've probably watched it 200 times.

If there were aliens there I doubt the government would tell us anyways.

I found it funny that it was not officially acknowledged, though you could get a pretty detailed image of it on Google earth.

Yeah I would've been a senior if I had gone straight to college.

The doctor says not to run again. Ever. Needless to say, I’m not taking this very well. Can I recover from this? Where should I go from here?

I usually have at least one workout per day, sometimes two or three, but I spend about all in-between time eating. I am not gaining weight, but I am not losing weight either. Should I be concerned?

My thanks to the triathlete community for being there when I need you. That’s the beautiful thing about triathletes. None of us are all right, and no one expects anyone else to be.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

The triathletes really inspired me. I watched them in awe as childlike thoughts went through my head like, "I want to do that!" But then reality set in. “Who are you kidding?

As a triathlete, there is one acronym that you just can’t fathom ever having next to your name in a race report – DNF: DID NOT FINISH.
