Subject: Litespeed Saber TT frame and fork, 57 cm

This is a relist of a prior item, $800 plus shipping. Original Owner. Used only for couple seasons, IMAZ and Wildflower long. No crashes. Great condition. Need to buy your own seat post Litespeed or QR system 6, approx $150), but I've got 2 and 4 bolt collar included

Make an offer. Plus actual shipping.

Full disclosure #1. This is the redesign with the aero seat post and Ti seat stays. It was a warranty replacement for a prior frame. Had issues with the post/collar creaking, you can search my name on ST and "creaking" and read all about it on the main forum. Finally got a resolution by greasing the front of the collar where it hits the seatpost, but was done with the bike by then and moving on. Loctite on the collar threads is also said to work, but i never tried it.

Full disclosure #2. I sold this frame to an STer, upon receipt he discovered a hairline crack at the BB weld. Got the frame back and sent it into ABG for weld repair. I confirmed with ABG that the repair included two separate quality control checks of the other welds.

NB - Cranks/pedals not included

We are often asked the question, "What size frame should I buy" and the answer is “it depends”. I know that’s not the answer you want to hear, but hopefully the following will shed some more light.

I am in the process of buying my first tri bike. Because of my size my fitter suggested buying a custom frame but then I have an infinite number of choices for components, wheels, aerobars, etc.

A bike is NOT a piece of metal with a couple of wheels at either end and a steering thing to stop you running over old ladies. No! ... a bike is a space-age “weapon of mass confusion.”
