Hi folks

Here is an event some of you may or may have nor heard about. It is called the One Run for Boston. It is a running cross country relay that goes 24/7. It could have gone right through your home town. All the money raised goes to those who were injured in the Boston Marathon last year. I will be running the same stage I did last year. Stage 325, an 11 mile run from Hampton Ct to Pomfret Ct. My start time is 11:35pm however it will probably be after that. It's something you may want to checkout. The site has a map and if you click on run all the states pop up and you can see where it is going if it's in your state. It starts in California March 16 and will finish in Boston April 13.

This year they are asking if we could raise $250.00 so I'm also looking for sponsors if anyone is interested. All the money goes right to them so I don't see it. My page is www.onerunforboston.org/u/kevrunsforboston. If that doesn't work for whatever reason my name can be put in under runner search with my name. If you could help out that would be great. Or even become involved. The one drawback is you don't know when you will run. If the runners before you are fast it could be earlier, slower, later. Last year by the time it hit the east coast I was 5 hours off. You can also track a baton coming across the country to see where the runners are. Unless it get dropped and damaged. It had a fair amount of duct tape on it last year when I got it. Anyway, just wanted to put it out there. Thank you.

Great event. One of the best ones I think I've ever done. Great communication from stage to stage making sure the relay keeps going. Wish my fund raising was going better but anything helps. Won't be long before March 16 is here and we're on our way. Have a great run.

I just ran the Boston Marathon under nine minute miles, can I run eight minute miles for my half Ironman training runs? Or should I go slower?

I am running Boston in April and Ironman Lake Placid is in July. I have been told that it is ambitious to think about doing an IM so close to a marathon due to the recovery time. Any suggestions?

The one-arm drill. This drill will help you with body rotation, breathing, and pull. It also isolates one arm so you can really concentrate on what that arm is doing through the whole stroke cycle.
