Subject: RE: Favorite Training FoodsWhen I train later in the day I just LOVE a meal of 2 x poached eggs and a large serving of 'healthy' baked beans (eg low salt & sugar), often followed by a banana. I threw down a plate of that last night after my run - it goes down easy and you can make it in 6 mins after your session.......... Otherwise, I seem to eat a lot of yoghurt when I'm training. I get the Onken brand which gives a wholegrain fruit version (sounds weird but the grains in the yoghurt give it a great texture and reduce the GI considerably!). |
