Good morning BT!

4:15am:  60 mins on the KK

5:15am:  my first attempt at a stair training workout that's been posted on FB by a gal named Brenda Vance:   holy crap!  I made one full round before I ran out of time (cross country at 7am again)--thank god!  That's a tough workout.  I'll conquer it though!

Have a great day!

Shuttled 2 kids at 6:15am to HS swim team morning practice and got in a 3.25mi run with the dog before the sun got up to high. Did the ALS ice bucket challenge when I was done (brrr) and then jumped in the back yard pool for an easy 800 yards.

Have a great day everyone...

Heading out in a few minutes for about a 2 hour bike ride with a few hills. Plan on riding fairly easy with some burst of speed and or effort on the hills etc. It's a route I haven't done in many years so looking forward to the views! If I have time later I will head to the Y for strength training and probably 1000yrds in the pool. Otherwise I might need to do those first thing in the morning tomorrow.

Was planning on 9-10 miles this morning. But, moved kinda' slowly, got a late start, and then Patches surprised me and ran out the door with Ben.  ya' see- Ben is the good boy.  He's a Border Collie and my best buddy running partner.  Listens to every command.  Patches, on the other hand, is a happy go lucky, non-obedient dog that is a lousy running partner and knows he doesn't get to come along.  So- I spent 15 min trying to get him back in the house... and ended up doing just a 7miler.  But, the rains last night really had some water running at the base of Reddington Pass- so, I got to clean off my Brooks, and Ben got a couple extra swims to cool down.

Hey there!

5:15am- 60 min power spin

Then had to squeeze in my 3 mile run in between rain storms. We had a DOOZY here in the Phoenix area...streets flooded, trees down - it's all a mess! We need the rain but when it comes that hard that fast, it isn't good!
