Run
Comments: 6:41 6:43 - I wrote this last year. Not sure where I was going with these numbers... Ran hard. Lotsa good sweating. Probably held back a little, as I had a tri the next morning. What would you do differently?: Run harder? Train more? Really, not much. Post race
Warm down: Went to the finish line shoot and cheered myself hoarse! Lots of happy faces out there (and Kim won her age group, too!). What limited your ability to perform faster: Same old, same old (like, being old, etc.). I think I held back a little, as I had a tri the next morning. Event comments: Great cause! Great race in an awesome setting! Cannot say enough good things about this one. Last updated: 2015-05-27 12:00 AM

Went to the company booth to help set up. We sponsor this event, as we have a significant presence in the genetics space. This is a terrific organization, and I'm happy, humbled and proud - all at once! - to be able to be part of it.
Jogged around Camp Mabry with Kim, looking at the static displays. I'm a pilot, so jogging past the "birds" on display was almost too much!
