Good morning BT!  I finally figured out my laptop and the wifi--only took me 2 days!

4:30am:  :50 min run with incline repeats

5:30am:  :40 min upper body strength + core

Did not get to the pool last night--instead went out for dinner at a local favorite--Pappasitos--it was delicious, both the food and the huge mango margarita I had! I think tonight we plan to hang out at the hotel so hopefully I can get a swim in tonight.

I got to hold a human brain yesterday--pretty cool!

Have a great day--lots of good, hard training this week! Good job us!

6:10 - 500 TT. Pretty sure I did a 550 TT. During the third 100, I remember thinking I had finished it, but then decided it was only 250. My time would have been significantly slower than my first TT if it was only 500. But, as I looked at the natatorium clock each 50, my pace was much faster than if I had only gone 500. If I went 550, then my time improved by 21 seconds in just over a month.

Swimming at the TCU pool was really nice.  Big fan.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

20 minute swim in the hotel pool this morning. Not sure on distance, I just swam 20 minutes straight at a medium effort.

Otherwise a rest day for me today, off to explore Albuquerque while my wife does her training.

Being a tag along is actually pretty fun.

Oh yeah, it's Friday! Now that it's vacation I keep forgetting what day it is--so used to being 12 hours ahead of everyone.

Big mid-day workout for me--3300m of swimming with lots of 200's, followed by 35 minutes of core and leg strength stuff. (I have to do them back to back as the pool and weight room are in one place, a 25 minute drive away, and I'm not going to make separate trips when I can get both workouts in on one drive and one punch of my card.) Now upper and lower body are equally tired!

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
