I like Blue Seventy's and Fuel Belt's.

Do you have a local running or triathlon store? They will often carry them and you can try them on.

There is a tri shop around 25 minutes drive for me and if I get down that way I will test some out. Thanks for the recommendation.

Easy solution - cut the elastic off an old pair of underwear. Pin the number to it and pull it on in T2 (or T1 if required).

I have actually done a race using an old shoelace as a number belt. Somehow my number belt took a walk and I didn't have time to find one before the event. You need a small waist and longish laces to do that though (or use two laces --one on each side of the number (tie to the holes). Size to waist beforehand and put over head in transition.

I have also just safety pinned my race number to the front of my hydration belt when I didn't want to wear two belts. But that only works if 1. You plan to carry a hydration belt on the run. and 2. You don't need to wear the number on the bike leg.

Hey, I did that for my first year of tri's (the elastic DIY thingy). Worked as well as anything store bought. ...

Personally, I don't like elastic number belts. They always tend to ride up on me. I use an old helmet strap, and pin the number on that.

I have one of each of these ^^. I like the BS because it adjusts to different size bibs (attachment points).

I bought a Fuel Belt with gel loops and bib holder off of Amazon. Works great.
