I don't know. I am in for IMFL too grand rapids tri and MITI are both good warm up events. Also Steelhead. Is snowing out today here in Lansing so I am thinking no OWS in the near future I ha have done IMFL several times and I am in the Lansing area so if you have questions feel free to ask. Having done the above mentioned races I can tell you the water will be far warmer and clearer come IMFL

Then the race bell went off and I started swimming, and I thought I was going to die. All of my swim practice did not prepare me for the chaos that is the beginning of a triathlon.
The first time I ventured into the deep murky green lake and could not see the bottom my muscles tensed and my imagined fears surfaced. What exactly lies beneath?
"I was talking to this guy I work with who's son does tri's and he says that fish and sharks "NIP" at you while you are swimming." Okay so now I am freaked out.
