Master 2125   | Subject: RE: Redman Half Distance Triathlon : Official Thread I've done it twice. Best HIM race in the midwest. Everything is flat. Not too much heat when I did it in 2013 and 2015. Wetsuit legal both years. There is nothing tricky about the course. 1 loop swim and bike. 2 loop run. Good luck. |

The last time I did (5 years ago!) it the roads were a little rough in places and I got a flat tire about 10 miles in, but the SAG support was there within minutes to assist. Just read my last race report and remembered how red and gross the mud is in the lake. Don't wear anything white or light colored, the red won't come out. If I hadn't moved away from the area this summer, I was planning on doing the full. It's one of my favorite races. |
