06.29.2019 Saturday, Feel Alright, wating till the 4th of July

37.5 miles on the Roadie this morning. Aero 75% of the time.

We have a strange thing here where they oil and then lay rock chips on the road. Sometimes they put up a sign, sometimes they don't. today no sign on the first road, I hit it at 25mph and found a tire groove. It is unnerving. For much of the back half of todays ride I felt like I was riding through mud, lost .4mph on the 60 minute split. But the wind picked up and I found myself some hills...

Coolest thing, we set up an outdoor shower in our redneck resort of a backyard. Wife and small boy set up a "grill pagoda" over top and then shower curtains around it. Great place to come home, hang up the gear (hooks supposed to be for burger flipping tools) and have a good shower in the outdoors.

Anyways...I started with a Troegs Perpetual 16oz...
