I literally bumped into OJ once while he was walking out and I was walking into a bank on Polk St. in San Francisco in the late '70s. It was thrilling for me because I grew up a Bills fan; saw the game at Rich Stadium when OJ ran for over 200yds to set an NFL record. What a great football player. Who knew what heinous crimes he was capable of committing in his personal life. I wonder what drives him to do something creepy like this book. Maybe a need to confess without having to confess? So sad.
I have a friend who met and had dinner with OJ and a couple of his friends in Florida before he became a murderer. She was a young (very young for him ) hot girl. She said he was a real slimeball. Very drunk, not very creative in how he was propositioning her (lack of finesse is the determining factor of slimeballhood ). He was married at the time, of course. |
