Okay I have a lower end digital scale (no decimal points) and it is fluctuating between 167 & 168.

I am disappointed because I cannot seem to break below the 167 mark

Two weeks ago 148.5, then vacation, today 146.5.

Like some others this is more due to illness than exercise, but I will take it, and be prepared if it bounces back up a bit as I resume normal eating, before I can quite start exercising again.

I refuse to officially post today's weight.  I want to give myself a week to get back to where I was, or at least closer.  I knew I was going to gain a bit while we were on vacation, but I didn't expect to see THREE POUNDS!  Ouch.

I'm hoping that getting back into a regular schedule of eating, sleeping and working out will help, and that by next Wednesday, I'll be closer to where I want to be  *sigh*

Of course, it doesn't help that today is a "wing it" food day, and I've already made some bad decisions.  Oh well... I promise I'll be back on track tomorrow.  We got home very late last night, and there was no way I was going to be able to deal with breakfast and lunch for myself for today.  But I will take care of it tonight for tomorrow and Friday.

I hope everyone had a great holiday!  We had a super duper fun trip, and all-in-all, I think it was worth FIVE pounds, so it's like a bargain!

Hey Madkat, I know what you mean! It made me sick to do it, but I posted my 4 lbs gain last week. Hang tough because it does get better once you get back to your routine.

As for me, I'm almost back to pre-Holidaze weight (176.5).

Start: 186
Last: 180.5
Now: 177.5

Total weight change-6.0

Dang it.  I was hoping for a loss this week.  I'm down 6 pounds total, but almost all of it is lean body mass; I just cannot get the body fat to budge.  I'm doing weight training to help offset the muscle loss, but apparently I haven't been doing it long enough

Finally able to get back to the gym after the big snows and school vacations caused so much damage to my schedule.

dblack and I got back at 1:30 last night after driving for 14 hours and eating for much of the way. We had a great vacation, but I TOTALLY chickened out on weighing in after eating all day in the car. I had a good workout tonight and did OK eating today and will weigh in tomorrow. I am still SCARED! Good for all you Team Skinny folks that made yourself get back on the scales after vacation, go Madkat and all the others who took the plunge. I promise to weigh in the morning.

On a positive note, dblack (ie. Doug, my husband) did get on the scale this morning and had great news to report. I won't steal his sharing, but not sure why he hasn't posted it yet. Maybe mine won't be as bad as I think, I mean we were on the same vacation! I think I had more cookies in the car. More to come tomorrow.....

Happy New Year everyone!

Everyone except me:

 This week:  145

I think that's a 3 pound gain from last week.  If I remember correctly...

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

I was pretty psyched to see 197.4 this morning after the aforementioned long drive.  We did do a lot of activities including two runs, a couple of snow shoe adventures and a couple of days skiing.

I don't remember what I was 2 weeks ago at my last weigh-in, but I think it was above 200, so big loss for me.  I might even consider exchanging some of the XL undergarments Texmom presented me with on Christmas for larges.

Doug-

You were at 201.6 so you accomplished a 4.2 pound loss.....not too shabby.  Of course, now we all can't wait to see what happens when your lovely wife steps on the scale in the morning....no, there is no pressure.

Karen-

Go ahead and post your weight...it won't affect how great we think you are.  Plus, just imagine what next week's numbers will look like.  There are others here who posted big jumps in the past weeks and even though one of them [not telling who though the evidence is still out there] refused to talk to anyone who lost weight during the same interval [chuckle], they were loved just the same.

Look at the bright side the commercials were saying that people gain 10 lbs over the holidays. I didn't see ANYONE come close. My prediction is that within 2 weeks everyone will be on the train back down to Skinny Town. What is with gaiaserver? An elephant and doesn't forget anything....LOL.

I was kind of hoping that if I didn't post, my weigh-in couldn't possibly be reality...but alas, yes...my did get fat...I think that rhymed

Last week: 137

This week:  138.4

Gain:  1.4

Can I blame on a certainly monthly female woe...or should I chalk it up to the darn Christmas cookies!  Either way...I'm still "looking" smaller, even if I'm not!

Starting Weight: 174.8

Weight on 12/20: 167.6

Weight on 1/4: 164.4

Loss since two weeks ago: 3.2 lbs., Total loss 10.4 Yippee!!!

OK, yes I was SHOCKED to see the scale this morning and I haven't been sick (other than an irritating cough and cold!) The only thing I can say is that I guess an active vacation pays off. We did do lots of skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and I even ran twice. I just felt yuck after sitting in the car and eating all day. I am PSYCHED! My goal was 165 and I have passed that, so can I readjust my goal to 160?

Oops. Forgot about the posting of weight again. Now that the holiday madness is over I can get back on my schedule.

I don't remember my last weigh-in nor where I started. All I know is that I am at 182 - still. Some big mile runs on schedule coming up in the next few days. I hope I can finally get below 180 and stay there.

Hi Guys!!  I totally spaced yesterday's weigh in.  Starting the work week on Tuesday always throws me off.  So I weighed in this morning: 150.  Grr.  But I lost 1% of BF and my muscle weight is up 1.6 pounds...so the weight has to start dropping soon!!

Nice job, Elektra Very Impressive.

I'm glad to see that some of us are still hanging in there...definately fewer posters the last couple of weeks. All the stocking candy in my house is gone...yipee! Unfortunately (or not, depending on how you look at it) my boss stocks our locker room with little treats like mini peanut butter cups and Mike and Ikes. Hard to resist not stuffing my vest with little snacks for the day. Yikes!

Well, I am very proud of all of you that are still sticking around seeing this challenge to the end. Lets keep it going for another few weeks!
