I think you win too - holy crap! Are you okay?!? That's pretty intense.

Here are my entries:

*edit* - not so much road rash as windshield rash.

Cool, not just me in this world! Wish I took pix of mine after the Oly crash last Oct.

OK, why are those not covered with ointment instead of scabbing?

Hee hee....No- not hit by a bus- or dragged   I was actually going downhill around a corner in aero, the 2cnd or 3rd time out on my tri bike and I hit gravel- BAM.  I did ride another hour after that too- crazy me

My tooth went trough my lip. I broke my collarbone, cracked my ribs, and shifted my spine out of place.

I got this last Sunday. I know what you are thinking and yes the bike is okay, however I did snap one arrow bar. Gave me a good reason to switch from the ironman bars to the cobra's, I hope I like them - 9 weeks out from IMCDA HooRAAA

I really wish I hadn't opened this thread!!! That has totally put me off my ride tonight!

Hope all of your injuries heal fast and you recover quickly. Very brave all of you.

I'm off to get some stablisers!

Whew! Nasty, but thank goodness it was back in 2006. How are you feeling since Tempe? I'm actually feeling pretty damn good. Started back with light workouts this week. Looking forward to be getting into a routine again or I'll go stir-crazt!!!

Yeah, it was a pretty ugly Friday. Thankfully no major injuries.

I've been feeling pretty good post-IMAZ. Took last week totally off, and got back in the pool yesterday for some light active recovery. Been having some problems with my right knee, think it might be something screwy with the meniscus or something. It comes and goes, and has made walking interesting. Other than that, though, all's well. And I've got an appointment to get some ink on Saturday.

How've you been man? What's your first week back looking like? I can't wait to get back into a regular routine, but that probably won't be until week after next.

btw, i love the cactus mdot.

ouch!!

nice to know everyone is alive with so much blood flowing out of the computer screen.

AND no you are not crazy for riding an hour after the accident. That's just how tuff triathletes can be!! I crashed on my first 40 miler only 30 mins in and finished the ride with blood all over my leg. The kids on their bikes were SHOCKED. I even heard , "mommy?!?!? - look at him!"

Almost enough to convince me riding is NOT as good for me as I thought. Although with my current mileage I dont have anything to worry about.
