Master 1704 Long Island, NY | Subject: Help a BTer and Smell/Look good too!! I'm sure many of you have seen 1 of the threads about Joe's (Freeswimmingfish) 9 yr old daughter's Trek 1000 road bike being stolen. She has a race in less than 2 weeks and is in need of a Bike. Joe has come to this awesome community of BT for our help to get his daughter a replacement bike. Please see the pictures and how awesome does she look on that bike? To sweeten the Pot, I have donated a Mixed Lot of Creme de La Mer, Clinique, & Estee Lauder product. (Sorry I don't work for a Tri-Shop, but hey eventually the ladies have to smell good, right? And Men, your SO would LOVE you if you got her this) Please see all the pictures. Ask any questions you have about the product. I attached a list in Word format. Edited to Add: Retail this Lot would go for well over $1,500..closer to $2,000. Please send what you can through PayPal to: [email protected] Now we are kind of putting this together on the fly for Joe since we are running out of time, his daughter's race is Oct 20th. so I may have missed a few details but I wanted to get this posted as soon as I could. Since we are all in diff't situations, I would think it fair that any amount you feel you can afford to give would gain entry into the raffle. Joe's daughter will put everyone's name who donated in a hat and pick the winner. She will then go out and win her AG!!! I will ship directly to winner. As a disclaimer, La Mer, Estee Lauder nor Clinique are associated with this in any way. I happen to work for the company and am given a very generous annual Stipend for free product that my wife will never use. Also, some of the items are packaged, some are loose, but it is all functional and not old/expired/used product. Finally, Ron & Marma if this violates any T&C, I apologize in advance and will defer to your discretion. Master 1704 Long Island, NY | Subject: RE: Help a BTer and Smell/Look good too!! From Joe: "The race they are doing is the 1st annual Sugar tri Kidz. The charity it benefits is the Snowdrop foundation benefitting Texas Children's hospital Cancer research. Catherine wants to donate any remaining funds to this charity, after bike replacement. " |

Master 1704 Long Island, NY | Subject: Help a BTer and Smell/Look good too!! $270 Collected so far!! Awesome job everyone but we are not quite halfway to our goal of $600. If only 30 people could give $10 we would be there and you would have a great chance in the raffle! You could easily take care of all your Female holiday shopping with this raffle! If it would help get more donations for Joe and his family, I could try and add some Men's colognes to the mix. C'mon BT let's get Catherine on that bike!! |

Elite 2706 Hurst, Texas | Subject: RE: Help a BTer and Smell/Look good too!! Joe, Donate mine to the charity. I'm just glad I was able to help, and SUPER glad that the scumbag was caught and you guys got your stuff back. 1st timer; do the raffle anyway! I am with Jessicadawn. My wife and my oldest daughter both use Estee Lauder and Clinique almost exclusively, and it costs me a fortune. If I am lucky enough to win some, I'd do cartwheels (and I've never done a cartwheel). |

Heh...Joe's daughter will be picking a winner and get in touch with them for a somewhat scaled down version of the original version..still pretty loaded though. If you want to PM about what your wife/daughter use from EL/Clinique I'll see what I have. I hear you about the cost, I can't believe what we charge(and people pay) for our product. |

Dad who can't contain himself from hammering with the lead pack on regular 80-mile rides... or Mom who is right there beside him doing the exact same thing? Happy to read the glad news. |
