Subject: Which BT women participate in "manly-men" activities?

Since there is a girly-man thread going, I thought that I should throw this one out there.

I already know our very own kick-azz Trixie hunts big game, and is in Why O' Ming at this time, and Zilla just about rassled a rattler, which of you other BT women have participated in a "manly-man" activity, and what was it (excluding Tris)?

I occasionally belch when drinking beer. Does that count?

Depends, how far up the alphabet can you make it before running out of steam?

Um, I rock-climb - another sport that is dominated by men, but that women are actually well-suited for.

In college, I drank like a frat boy (with frat boys)...does that count?

I also own a full set of tools and drill and know how to use them (and have used them).

I don't know if this is a manly-man thing but I am a plumber and run a re-model constrution co with my hubby. And yes I am out in the field working everyday and doing the office work at night.

As for sports, nope just triathlon and stuff

I go target shooting at an indoor range from time to time.  I'm a pretty damn good shot, too.  I also grill on a charcoal grill.

No, "manly-men" activities, but just through the possible deduction of what is identified through the "girly-man" thread.

  • Rafting (I row)
  • Telemark skiing
  • Backpacking
  • Hiking
  • Lifting weights
  • Trap shooting
  • Embroidery

You forgot to add taxidermy .. we both love that!

True. Except have I told you about getting the horns off the antelope? That wasn't fun. Apparently, I'm really hard to gross out until there are brains on a bone saw. That's my limit.

I burp and fart far better than either my husband or any of his friends. When my husband says "I love you" I usually say something lame, like "okay" or "hmmm, what?" I take race car lessons.

I guess all of those things don't really make me manly so much as insensitive and stupid though.

Well, I'm sorry to say, mr2tony, but you are not a BT woman, so your response will be moot.  I only hope that it was a "manly-man" cry, though.
