Running - Distance Team A's Google Spreadsheet is now available!

1) Go to:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=puhAA5NRKHA3MU3me9GPxWQ&hl=e...

2) You will need to enter this info:
email address: [email protected]
password: challengeforum

3) The ONLY column that you will need to update is "Total Completed to Date."
This is the total amount that you have completed as of the reporting date.

3) You can update the spreadsheet as often as you'd like. However....

Your cumulative amounts must be entered in this spreadsheet by Sunday evening, your time on the following days:
- Jan 6
- Jan 13
- Jan 20
- Jan 27
- Jan 31

4) If you have trouble using this spreadsheet, please let your Team Captain know. He/she will be able to help you, or will enter the data for you.

If you have any questions, just let me know!

Welcome to the January Challenge!

Hi guys,

I guess I am the first to introduce - My goal is 100 miles. Without injury it should be easy. I'm a runner and unfortunately stuck on the dreadmill most of the time thanks to the wonderful WI weather.

We need a name any ideas?

Hellooo... another Lisa here.
My goal is 50 miles. I start my HIM training plan on Jan. 21, so this will be a great way to ramp up to that.

I'm pretty sure with 2 Lisa's on the team, we will kick some azz!

Also, what is our team name?

I really am not good at this. Anyone have any ideas????

This is my first challenge so how PC does it need to be? I was reading about some of the other names so I am guessing not too much.

It's the attack of the L names! I entered a goal of 80 mi but we'll see how I'm feeling after Goofy the weekend of the 12th-13th and I may easily get quite a bit more. I'll be in rural bofunk Maine without a pool so I plan on lots of short runs. Team name- no clue, creativity is usually not my strong suit

Hello  everyone! My name is James and my goal is 350 KM (350 miles will be in march or april lol ) I'm really not good at team names so here we go: Roadrunners or Running Rebels. I wish everyone a Happy New Year! Lots of safe training and WIN this challenge.

So far, you guys sure look like the "L" team, to me!

As for being PC... Let's just say that the Biking-by-Time team is still debating whether they're going to be "T.I.T.S." or "D Cups" or "Double D." 'Nuff said. LOL

I admit that when you submitted that goal, I stared at it for awhile and wondered if there was a typo in there. LOL

That's an AMAZING distance!

Happy new year everyone!  i'm Maddy and It's already the 1st here so I've started the challenge!   I'm hoping to join a running group this month.  It's part of my new years resolution!

(I'm just about to map out my route this morning so I can log it)

My goal is to run 2km per day - so that's 62km for the month!

As for team name...   Lisas, Lynnes...  LeCrac???  Light_sabe_r??    I see no harm in being team OVING EVERY MILE!!!

Or team Life on Legs...  LOL for short.  He he he

Ouch... how did I sign up for the most miles this month... oh... wait... first marathon in March.

Anyway, I'm Brian, I'm a couch potato, and I'm signed up for my first marathon in March in Napa, which means this is my peak mileage month. So... I've got some running to do. Hopefully the weather cooperates. Even in San Francisco, it does get down to the 40s with lots of wind and rain.

Hope everyone had a great New Years.

Hello folks and Happy New Year. Let's get this one to a great start by kicking butt on this challenge!

I signed up for 130 miles, trying to not overly focus on one sport in the midst of IM training. Looking forward to rebounding from the lull I ended 2007 on.

Attn Team Captains:

Team Name changes

Once you have decided on a team name, let myself or Dee know - we both have access to change the names.

Dee is on the road today, and I will be headed out for a few hours in an hour or so, so the change may not be made until this evening
