Don't be a sore loser, Jen! :P

Oh...if we're going by percent over, I'm changing my run goal back!

lol. I figured we were just going by goals achieved, so anything over 100% isn't relevant.

I'm finally kicking this stupid cold.  I need to go update the spreadsheet.  I did do a little bit.  I'm falling pitifully short of my goals, though.  I know I can adjust by the number of days I was sick, but I'm not going to.  I know I would have met every single one of my goals this month!

D001 - 2010-08-29 10:12 AM It's a RANDOM CHALLENGE UPDATE! August is 94% over. Don't be a slacker! And wow, do we have a lot of slackers this month! OVERACHIVERS: Blagels - 107.10% ON TARGET: Artemis - 91.60% kimk - 91.20% pdbman - Taking it easy, per doctor's orders! SLACKERS: LiamD - 84.50% yogachic - 80.60% owl_girl - 76.70% sappho96 - 67.60% tri808 - 59.60% ABrady42 - 42.70% mndymond - 40.70% crimefighter2 - 40.10% Emmanem - 38.70% D001 - 'cause I withdrew.

Wow. That's probably the easiest, although most expensive, thing I have ever done to get my training back "on target." I don't think I'll try it again though.

I'm feeling much better but I'm not enjoying not training. I can really feel it, especially in my legs. I'm starting to feel stiff and my muscles are tight. I'm considering an easy bike ride this evening. I'll see how it goes. I also have a ton of stuff piling up that I need to do that requires lifting so I can't do it. Frustrating but I'm alive and well so I can't complain.

Tell the wife to do the lifting.

(What in the world are you trying to lift? Now is probably not the time to remodel the house!)

Is the doctor OK with an easy bike ride or some walking?

I, on the other hand, need to relocate to Slackerville.....

Heck, I'm *in* Slackerville already. I might as well make it official!

I'm over 100% for all my goals and 100% peach for the month.    If I hadn't raised my goal I would have a higher percentage than Blake.

However, it looks like we both averaged over 100% so I guess we tie.

Thanks for the great month! I went over for my bike goal, hit my swim and fell just short of my run. The longer distances took longer to recover and I missed some of my week day shorter stuff

I can start back slow and easy. The Dr didn't really say what that meant though. The one specific thing he said was no swimming. I wanted to go for a walk/jog the last couple of nights but have had to work late and haven't even been able to get on BT to see how everyone is doing. I have an appt at 6:30 tonight that should only last 30 minutes so hopefully after that.

I'm even slacking at my recovery so I think I'll stay where I'm at for now. Hopefully I'll hit my goals for the month and be able to move out of Slackerville.
