zipp1 - 2008-02-25 11:33 AM I have the flu which has made my asthma flare up. I'll finish my goal if I have to crawl the last 2 1/2 miles but it won't be today because I haven't got enough energy to get out of my own way.

Judi, I hope you are feeling better! It's a nasty strain I hear, take it easy. I am almost at 100% and if the weather holds I hope to be at 110% by friday morning, so I can hopefully pick up some slack for you.

Feel better and drink you orange juice!

Oj

Thanks Tammy!  I think I'm at 96% right now and even wralking right now seems daunting.  The extent of my day went something like this: eat, sleep on the couch, play on BT, move laundry around--repeat-- going out to pick up the mail today was work, picking up my daughter from school--another chore...Having jello for a brain today as well as my body (that which didn't hurt that is) was pretty rough...and this is an improvement from yesterday

I'm really sorry to hear you're sick, Judi! I've had a bit of a cold the past few days, but thankfully not the flu. Get well soon!

I did PM Dee and got permission to reduce my goal since I was injured for 8 days. I need 4 more miles this week to reach my goal, so I should be able to make it.

Well, I figured that after you were done puking in the cup, you might want a nice scented candle to clear the air.

Shall I bring the cup back again now? LOL

How are you feeling?

Glad to hear you're in reach of your goal!

Between my brother-in-law's death, a hurt back, and now this stupid cold, it's been a REALLY rough month, but I'm hanging in there. I was on vacation for 10 days, so that definitely helped.

Team,

I have 2.8 miles to go.  I can't do it.  I have the feeling that my doc will try a couple of nebulizer treatments in the office today and send me to the hospital for at minimum a chest x ray.  A couple of you have volunteered to help me out.  If you can help it would be really appreciated.

I should go over my goal as of mile 7 of my 8 mile run tomorrow. I'll donate that mile (plus any couple I eke out on Friday) to you, Judi!

Now get better already.

You Gingerbread joggers are the best!  Karen had 4 miles exta the other day so that filled up my 2.8 which completed my goal (okay with a little help from my friends)

I spent last night visiting the ER where I work from the pts perspective.  Tody, I feel almost human, even anted to eat breakfast (steroids--got to watch that)

Judi - so sorry you have pneumonia!  Get better and listen to your docs!

I have a brick tonite with only 3 miles planned, but if anybody needs those miles to complete their pledge they can have them!

Hey guys...just a quick update that I just finished my goal. By a whopping tenth of a mile too. I would have gone over by about a mile (would have given me 103%) but a calf strain I've been trying to ignore the last week definitely felt worse today so I ended up walking 2/3rds of my workout and cutting some mileage off to get home. Oh, well, but I at least made it and I updated the spreadsheet.

I'm proud of myself for finishing since I was thinking of dropping out 2 weeks ago between my broken toe and a few other things, but I stuck it out and actually enjoyed most of my runs this month. It's nice to finally not hate the run.

Hope everyone that is able to is finishing up their miles. Way to go guys! And for the walking (or for that matter not walking) wounded, I'm wishing you a speedy recovery!

I'm over for the month too (by 1.6 miles)...I think I might do a little indoor brick this afternoon, depending on how time shakes out.

Thanks for being such an awesome team (even if I was a distracted leader...) You guys/girls ROCK!!!
