Good afternoon Pineapples,

I did get to swim today. The pool is fixed and it was really nice. I rode to the gym on the bike and home again. It was beautiful outside. So I logged some more hrs. for the Challenge.

Everyone have a great day.

Chris

Great Job Chris.

If I can get out of bed in the morning, I should close the gap on my running deficit.

well today was a great day. i did the cycling during lunch and felt great. i have been improving on the bike, and run, but i havent been able to coordinate my swims. so tonight was my first encounter with the water in a while. my main goal-survive to swim another day. it turns out that thursdays are slow at the pool so off i went slow and diligent. the first time i made it to the end of the pool was both complete surprise and elation. so i plodded along and actually enjoyed my first time in the water and knocked out 700 yards. after that a quick run to close out a good day.

Good morning Pineapples,

I will be out of touch for the weekend but will post on Sun night. I am going to my first ever Tri Training Camp for the TTT race. It starts today and ends Sun. I am really excited but a little anxious cause I have not ever done a camp before. Hope to learn some good tips from some of the wicked fast folks that will be there. So everyone have a great weekend and If you are racing... Have fun and stay safe.

I just finished my longest-ever run. 7.3 miles. It was outside, a couple small hills, nice route. I'm so excited that I can run nearly an hour and a half non-stop! Wahoo!

Hey team,

It's finally the weekend, or at least Friday! Let's take advantage of the weekend and the increasingly better weather to get some big workouts in and make a serious dent in those numbers. I will do my best to help out with the cause by putting in some miles on the bike.

Hi everyone

I have been so busy lately that I did not have much time to post. But I exercised instead

This week has been a heavy exercise week so far and it will continue on the weekend. I need to make up for going away for a week especially as my next TRI is in 2 weeks and 2 days and it is kind of the most important race this year.

I am way ahead of schedule but this was planned in as I can neither bike or swim (except if the hotel has a pool) from Monday on for the rest of the month so I need to be done by then

I hope you all have a great weekend. Go Pineapples!!

On my way out of town for highway clean up, I remembered that I can use walking for run credit, so I did! We walked about a mile, and I actually ran half a mile more back to the truck so I could pick everybody up. Yay, I think this catches me up on all of my needed running minutes!

I vow to do better with inspires for the rest of the month than I have so far.

Hi everyone,

I'm back and it turned out that the trip was on the whole a positve experience for both my mother and me.

It loooks like everyone is doing really well and gettin nice and motivated. Keep up the good work and train hard.

I'm going to sneak a swim in today-it's usually my rest day but Dh is working and my son is on his first ever sleep overCry. So I am abandoned and lonelyWink. So now I can make up some of my missed time.

Train hard, Pineapples.

great run heidi!! so awesome!!
i THINK i may have gotten my run MOJO back!! i'm so EXCITED!! i THINK what was wrong was that i was trying to do too much too fast. with the speedwork, and stuff. today, i left my watch at home, and just ran without time being an issue, and i HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! i ran over three miles with no fatigue, my legs are tired, but after a week of struggling, and being bummed out, and actually DREADING my run, i enjoyed my run, feel more like myself again, and realize that i'm NOT a slacker, or a wimp, that i actually CAN still run, and i'm SO HAPPY!!!!

so i made cookies to celebrate!

Wahoo! for the run, and for the cookies! I haven't reached that place of enjoying a run yet; but I don't dread them like I used to!

Way to go, both of you!  Just to join in the fun, I just finished my longest run of the year, that should dent my deficit.

Four hours of fresh mountain air! If you don't sleep well tonight, somethin's wrong! Congrats on your longest run!

I just updated the spreadsheet with my 60 min easy spin from last nite and my hour run this am. The run was a slog. I think Alyssa took my Mojo cos it's disappeared! I didn't enjoy this run. I think I will look at my diet.
