RunningJayhawk - 2008-04-03 3:42 AM Seriously so annoyed!! Was supposed to have my first bike class last night for climbing... ...tossed the bike on the car...and when I arrived 10 minutes later...the rear wheel disappeared. So..my baby is getting a new wheel set today...and new cassette..and tire and tube... And hopefully I'll be able to at least do the class workout I missed tonight. Argh.

MAJOR BUMMER!  Nobody beeped you over! At least it can be replaced easily.

Note about challenge goals: Please have your goals finalized and in the spreadsheets by the end of Friday, April 4th.  For international people, end of US' Friday.  After that, goals can be increased at any time without permission, but cannot be decreased except in case of severe illness, injury, or other emergency.

Drive by posting today. (I'm at work....) In answer to your questions: You can change your goals directly on the spreadsheet. Raising goals is ALWAYS allowed. (Reducing them requires "permission" from the challenge organizer (Jen).) You post your weekly results directly onto the spreadsheet. If you have questions about using the spreadsheet, just let us know! (I know some people, like Mac users, can't always access/update it.) Don't be scared of the challenges. (Be scared of my whip though. LOL) - Dee

Yeah, the spreadsheet is set to view only (for me?). I am not a Mac user and use Google Doc regularly… No rush. I am at work too…Should focus on that for a while. I will keep track on my log and add later this week…

Feel free to share it with yourself.  If you want to, go to docs.google.com and then log in as 'btchallenge' with the password 'challengeforum'.  If you go to the share tab, you can invite yourself as a collaborator.  That's what I usually do so I don't have to log in and out of google to check the spreadsheets.

Speaking of first tris of the season, is anyone doing their first this month?

I wish I was.  Gotta wait till May 31st, though.  But I'm getting the second one in the weekend after that.  So that'll be a sweet week.

The spreadsheet has this for you:
Swim 40000 yds
Bike 700 miles
Run 100 miles

Are those correct? Those are some IMPRESSIVE goals. Wow!!!!

P.S. Can I have a Little Debbie's Swiss Roll? It's been sooooo long since I've had one. Like, um... days even.

Fixed the spreadsheet for you! It should be calculating your percentages now.

What? No Little Debbies unless I work out? I'd better get training! (Yes, this would be a good motivator for me. LOL)

I have my bike back with a new wheel set.

at least it's an upgrade, right?! ...much to my husband's chagrin.

Went to the pool last night only to find it closed for a new toddler class. BOO.

So now I've missed 2 workouts the first week of April. What gives!?

Half marathon on Sunday. Should be a grand ole time. If Kansas beats UNC tomorrow night, I may have a sobriety problem. Hell...if Kansas loses to UNC tomorrow night, I may have a sobriety problem. No PR to be set regardless, that's fo' sho'.

Excuse me? I think you meant if UNC beats Kansas tomorrow night....

Then again, that pale blue color just doesn't do anything for me. So my attitude is pretty much, "Yeah, whatever...."

There's cake?  I should stop by and say hi.

Have a good weekend ringers.  Tomorrow is REST DAY!  (If I make it to Memphis tonight through all these storms)  If all goes according to plan, I'll have new tires waiting on me when I get back into town.

(nothing goes according to plan)
