I've never posted in here before, but I will add some eye candy for the ladies...
I love that you're finishing just ahead of 4 ladies in panchos, screaming like you just won at Kona.

Haha, hey a net time of 3:56:28 for my first marathon wasn't bad at all. Idk what those ladies were doing there, maybe half-marathon walkers? I felt like I just won Kona too lol.
Hey no worries, if I crack 6.5 hours at Longhorn I'm going to act like I just nailed Scarlett Johannsen & Eva Mendes at the same time.

Wow, that is an awesome thought. I might use that as motivation at Tawas 70.3 this year. I wonder how that would look as a finish line shot though....

depends on how the picture is in there. If it's an attachment, it won't copy.

Wifey and Razor (my 1st son) got the grill going with some cheese-in-the-middle burgers and some Johnsonville brats, after I finished my 60 mile bike ride and 30 min. BRICK today.  A little Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy completed the ensemble.
You're jealous of my chef's attire, aren't you?

Black skinsuit, black (carbon look) aero helmet, black overshoes, black socks, de-stickered 404' for that black look... bling as heck bike (Argon 18 E112). Photo taken after a local hilly ITT. 20km (13miles) in 33min 48seconds - good enough for 3rd in B-grade.

No tri shots yet, but here are some of me... paintball is how I spent my money and exercised last year. I'm glad to be back on the bike and back in the water this season. It's better on my wallet, lol.

Im speechless

Here are two photos from last month in Joshua Tree National Park in California.  Outward Bound, with a grant from Sierra Club, sponsored members of my unit for a Vets program for military vets from OEF and OIF.  6 days of backpacking, climbing and rappelling.

I have to ask.... before I discovered the world of triathlons (and this site) I really wanted to do something that would challenge my body and hopefully force me to find that inner strength that is supposed to surface when you are physically and mentally challenged.  I was sooooo close to doing the Joshua hike vis-a-vis Outward Bound but was nervous I'd end up on an adult hike with a bunch of retirees or worse... troubled teenagers.  How was it?  Did you find it challenging?

Oh.... and.... um... ya... nice pics everyone ;P
