mbasta - 2010-11-04 11:18 AM I'm thinking about cutting off some hair today to improve my race times.

Alright, so that my hair requires less maintenance...

I desperately need a haircut.  I've been too lazy to be bothered and now that it's grown out a bit I look like Justin Bieber.  Seriously ridiculous.

Howdy, y'all!  I wish I could stick around to chat but my work day has officially started.  I still have no motivation to do anything productive but since they're paying me to be here I guess I should at least walk around and LOOK busy.  Appearance is everything.

rh8463 - 2010-11-02 6:21 PM Morning Crushers!

Yay for a new month and a new challenge (well day 3 of it for me...).

Do we have a spreadsheet yet?

Yanti said that she's going to post it tomorrow. She's on your time so maybe tomorrow is today?

Oh cool, just as long as I haven't missed anything....

Hows the new job going?

It's off to a slow start, but good so far. I worked 1 day (in addition to my trial) at my location last week, and trained 2 days at another location because ours doesn't have a kinesiologist other than myself. I am off this week because this is the physiotherapist assistant's last week of internship (free labour, I understand). Next week I start regular 3 days a week shifts and wait for full time which should be coming soon.

Well that sounds good - glad its working out for you! I'm about to sign another contract which will have me safe (bit ridiculously busy) until end of March 2012. Then I think we will apply for permanent residency here so at least I only have jobs to worry about, not visas too!

It would be nice to know you job is secure for a while. Mine is pretty iffy with this office closing down. There are only a handful of us left. They keep telling us that they are moving us to the other office but they haven't said when and they are getting things ready at the new office so we can move in.

Hopefully everything will work out well for the both of you.

Paul - new offices can be nice.

I'm not excited about the new office except that it will mean I still have a job. It will be left over space at a trucking terminal. Its a filthy place and not the best work environment.

For all those that have Netflix, watch The IT Crowd. It's a BBC show that is funny and surprisingly accurate.

Emmanem - 2010-11-04 8:14 AM Ugh waiting on my meeting to start and we are having free pizza.... Must not give in!!  This whole eating healthy thing is hard lol

Free food is the bane of my life. We have 2-3 coffee mornings a week here from sales reps. I delete notices immediately and never stop by because they have cakes and cheese and none of it is good.

Oh, cakes and cheeses are good.  Delicious in fact.  Good for you?  That's another story.

With cakes I let myself eat them if I made them myself, and then I go for a run....lol

If I had to make a cake to eat it then I wouldn't get cake very often. I make my wife's favorite cake for her birthday, Valentines, and maybe mothers' day. Other than that we don't make cake. With only two of us, we either end up pigging out so it won't go bad or we feel quilty as it goes to waste.

My husband loves cake and would accept one weekly if I would make it. I tried to convince him that cupcakes are more reasonable since you can make half a batch but he won't hear it.

I already banned gravy production in our house because he has a problem... after the meal, when he's already super full, he will stack white bread slices, pour gravy on them, and eat it.

I told him that unless he can use his gravy "properly", I won't make it for him.

Sorry... I don't do electronics.

I did learn how to operate all of the Microsoft software with a moderate degree of expertise when I was doing my kinesiology program... but it has since been deleted.

You're such a spoil sport. And who's to say what the appropriate use of gravy is? I'm sure Crushers could think of a lot of things to do with gravy that others might deem inappropriate.

This IS the proper use of leftover gravy.  Only better if you have little pieces of roast beef....*yum*!
