Sleepy... We've got an 18-month-old in the house for a few days. Wake up call was about 3:45am, and then the dog was up, too.

He's cute though.

Sorry to say, but no reason for an 18 month old not to sleep through the night...makes being a parent SO much easier. Cannot imagine being sleep deprived for 18 months and having to make rational decision when it comes to my child.

Maybe a shot of tequila...for the child or yourself. Pick a target, either will work.

18-month old endured a philly to phoenix flight, then a phoenix to tucson drive, then a soccer game all in one day... sleep schedule is not normal.

also not in their own bed, etc.  even full grown adults have troubles sleeping through the night under such circumstances.

hmmm...you are all right, but I still think my tequila-based solution will solve the problem nonetheless. You can use Benadryl, but tequila tastes better.

I would have slept on the flight, and definitely during the soccer game, and still slept through the night. I love me some sleep!

I wish that the repair/service industry would keep their word.  When they do, it's an exception and they get repeat business, but in most cases, they ALWAYS underestimate.

My bigscreen kicked the bucket, so they said they would be in last monday to get it.  I took off early to let them in and I was almost home when they called to say they couldn't make it.  So I had to take off early on Wednesday for them to get it.

They seemed nice enough and said 2-3 days for repairs.  So I gave them 3 and said I could be there to get it back on Sat.  No call, no TV.  Now we are half way through monday (they don't work Sundays) and still no call to schedule drop off.

Just bugs me - but I guess I just accept it and don't get too mad because it's what I just expect from that industry.  Lack of communication and things taking twice as long as promised.

Well, let's see.

First the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it.

Wrong. It was all created from scratch in 6 days only 5000 years ago.

SIX thousand years ago! Sheesh. Get your wrong facts right.

Not now.   They have my TV.

My first choice with the outfit that fixed it before that I really liked because they WERE prompt and good, well, they never returned my calls or were willing to take new/repeat business.  After weeks of a brush off, the wife found THIS place that got good reviews.  Unless they call me today (I will give them 1 extra day), I will be writing a bad review.

They are on day 4 now, when they said 2-3.

I wish I slept more consistently. I wake up a lot but then don't want to wake monica up so I just lay there very still and quiet. No reason for both of us to suffer.

I was just at my gym ... busting buttocks (well, pretending to as I am still hungover from Saturday) the interesting fact is that it was at the gym on Saturday night where I drank more alcohol in one night than I have in the last  7 or more years AND I am still feeling the poisonous effects of it today.

Oddly we all avoided eye contact today ... i can't imagine why!!!

Al Kee Hawl has that effect.  You now have to repent.  Don't forget your "Hail Mary"s.  7 of them.  In a row.
Sinner.

1stTimeTri - 2012-11-05 2:19 PM Wazzzzup, TAN!  Is there a synopsis post - I haven't seen one of those in eons.

This from the woman who looks like she's physically trying to put her head up her azz in her avitar pic. Whatever happened to that swimming one?

Nah, my legs are just up on the wall (like I'm getting ready for a jackhammer or something. I can't put my head up my azz (yet) but I can drop my knees down around my ears (from that position) and have my face in my crotch.

Jackhammer?  I thought is was the pile driver.  I could be wrong .. I don't get out much!

Yep Pile driver it is.
