i am TIREDDDD.  we have had icky weather all week and now "Winter Storm Iago" is coming (wtf??)

please motivate me to go run rather than go home and read in bed with my doggies.

What do your dogs like to read?

we are reading the game of thrones series right now.

I gave up on that series like 3 or 4 books in.  I just got tired of it.  I hope it goes better for you.

I have the last book in the Wheel of Time series sitting next to my bed that I have not been able to get to yet.

Just started the last WoT; I've become less enamoured over time, but I have to see it through.  Gotta say though, anything by Neal Stephenson has become my favorite.

Yeah I feel the same way about WoT.  I've gottent his far I might as well finish.

I will have to check him out.  I need some new stuff to read.

You will not be disappointed.  He's incredibly smart and insightful and is one of the few writers that actually causes me to laugh out loud in public places.  It's all fantastic, but start with the Baroque Cycle (trust me).

Agree. Loved Cryptonomicon and Snow Crash (two completely different books). Have you read any of the Baroque Cycle books? Any good?

I just posted before I read that.  Excellent (unless you have an aversion to a few thousand pages of intelligent, witty stuff that hard to put down).  I hate to say "his best", because the rest of it is so good too.

Bush, insertion, pizza and flowers . . . I kid you not, but I don't think any of those things mean what I thought they meant.

You would be named God of suits?

But yes, the pizza and flowers are innuendo.

The amount of stupidity I am seeing at work lately has me in fear for our society.

Don't read Cup o Joe, then.

No the sad part is there is much more intelligent things going on.

We just shipped a bad part to FORD.... funny part is the machine I have programmed. Locks up the part. Puts up a big Red Screen. Marks the part with Red paint and a supervisor has to come over and reset it so they can run.

It failed insertion force on a bushing...The bushing was undersized and fell right through

I made it this far before I just started giggling!!!

Lots of TAN buzz words to make us start thinking pizza

I could use some PIZZA willing to trade for FLOWERS

and that would get rid of my urge to punch people

No you can't fix stupid. But I am told that I have to.

Would you liek to join me on my sabattical?  Its very hard!

Sabbatical sounds good. Wait - sabbatical from what?

I am on a small sabbatical from men. (i think)

Huh.  Leisure.  If you (the general "you") had ANY idea how much I absolutely and with every fiber of my being HATE the situation I'm currently in, I'd be God of something else.  Though really, I guess I don't have anything else!

Nice that I got the others though!

In this case, I think bush was actually maybe like a real bush . . . shrubbery . . . or maybe mechanical equipment.  I don't know if I'm going to be able to hold a normal conversation in the real world.
