Currently being a rebel and not going to rounds at 0800. *Traffic is sooooooo bad* cough cough. It prob is bad but I would have to leave my house to figure that one out. We got dumped on by a bunch if snow. Have to go to the dentist tomorrow cause I have a tooth that hurt (which I think is a gum infx or something) but its causing a radiating pain in my face. Annoying. I'm also going to visit Kim next month on my way to DC! Woooooo When and where are you visiting Kim? I live less than 2 hours from DC. |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Howdy Ghoulies! A fantastically beautiful day here. I did chores in the am then outside for a couple of hours of yard work. I have a ton more I wanted to do, but it is HOT today- 75 degrees. I am not used to that yet. showered and a nap is getting ready to be had. Tonight we are going to a local restaraunt with a bunch of friends for Irish night. Getting our St Paddy's on early. Have great days, all! |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Took a short 1.25 mile walk on Thursday evening and the leg did okay, the hip hurt some. I think the sciatic nerve issue is finally working itself through. Wouldn't that be awesome. Went to the Dr. Friday morning and he is happy to hear about the sciatic issue. Regarding the hip, unless I want to do surgery which is just as invasive as hip replacement surgery he thinks I should focus on strengthening the hip muscles and seeing if I can live with it. I think with the sciatic finally clearing up it might be a possibility. I do have 4 more weeks of PT that I can do. I think I might take a couple off and see how it goes. I am going to get in more walks this week and build it up and then hopefully try a short run in a week or two. Keeping fingers crossed that I am over the worst of it. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Yesterday was a typical busy Saturday during the day. In the evening Keri put me to work. 20 hard minutes on the treadmill 15 minutes of leg work: lunges, dead lifts, step ups, and some stretching 20 harder minutes on the treadmill A few more minutes of stretching At one point she had me running an 8:00 minute mile pace doing 9 on the incline. I only had to do it for a minute but DAMN. My legs, abs, and obliques hurt today. |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Morning Ghoulies. Lots of good yard work in this weekend, along with some fun times in the evening with friends. It was almost summer weather here over the weekend. Back to normal early spring, late winter weather today. Typical March. We will have more sleet/snow etc before Spring really gets here. I treat days like those as "gift days". It is rainy here, too. Good thing. I about wore myself out in the yard. Another couple of days of that and I would be crippled. |

Elite 4201 washington state | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Good Morning! The weekend was fun and busy. Just not busy with workouts! Saturday - breakfast with friends and then walking around a big car show -- indoors thankfully since it was raining off/on. Then Sunday was the 3 year old granddaughter's birthday party, complete with tacos & nacho fixings, cake, presents, and a pinata. Pretty fun watching the kids go after the pinata and candy. Some kids grabbed any candy .. others picked out just certain ones. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Good afternoon Ghoulies. Sounds like everyone had great weekends. Unfortunately I had to work over this beautiful weekend, but I have to admit I did like the daylight in the evening afterwork. Made me want to stay up later. Our Rotary Casino night was fun, I learned to play craps. Won lots, but of course that would be the case with "fun" money. Did not win any prizes. Last night I watch the Les Mis Concert special that was on PBS. I love that show. Tonight I am going to get on the treadmill. Fingers crossed that all goes well. |
