My legs are just having none of it, and my upper back seems a bit sore, too. Guess it was too lofty of a goal for me. I still have a 6 miler Tuesday, and a 3 miler on Wednesday, but I think I'm going to come up a bit short. Sorry!  |

Pro 4189 Pittsburgh, my heart is in Glasgow | Subject: RE: Purple People Eaters Team Thread way to go everyone, we've all done a smashing job of painting the town purple! I definitely sacked up a lot more this month because I felt like I'd be letting oyu all down if I didn't run...and I discovered that, as much as it pains me to admit it, running IS fun! |

Master 2429 Falls Church, Virginia | Subject: RE: Purple People Eaters Team Thread Love the tattoo, just gorgeous. Final check in for me: 91.35 miles. Short of my stated goal, but still far and away better than any month of running I've ever had. Surpassed my previous high month (September) by a whopping 54.33 miles. Thanks to all for the incredible support. I intend to keep on watching all of my Purple Peeps even after October is over. |

I forgot just how hard mentally it is to get back on track after a marathon. I find it's especially difficult as the weather gets cooler, and it's dark in the morning. I just couldn't get up some days. |
