I know this, not because she was my student, but that I supervised her college writing instructor and thus wound up assessing one of Kaitlin's papers. I recognized the name, but can't remember jack about the paper; thus, it must have been decent since it neither so awful nor so great that I would remember. I love name-dropping, if y'all didn't notice. "See, my great-aunt's ex-boyfriend in college wound up marrying this girl who gave her dog away to this guy 'cause the ex-boyfriend was allergic and the guy's brother is ..." Ah, I think I'm just gonna keep milking the six degrees of separation, 'cause it makes me feel all close and warm and fuzzy to these athletes and maybe some of their greatness will rub off.
