TheSchwamm - 2007-11-27 10:03 AM There's a week-long meeting here at work that my boss is stuck in. It's been great so far.

That's even better than a canceled meeting.

Ever have a pre-meeting meeting to discuss the agenda for the meeting that basically winds up being the meeting anyway but the caller of the meeting feels it necessary to have the original meeting too because one person that wasn't at the pre-meeting couldn't make it so you wind up wasting double the time explaining to the person that wasn't there, who brings up everything the original non-meeting, pre-meeting meeting did anyway?

Yeah, good times.

Yes, this happened.  And yes, the original organizer wanted the other person to feel they contributed, even though they didn't.  Massive waste of time.  Oh, did I mention both meetings lasted 2 1/2 hours?  EACH!  That poor dead horse.  Never got such a beating as it did in the second meeting.

Good morning TANners. I ran last night and felt like I was running in wet cement. So I gave up and instead of running 10 I ran 5. Lame.

Well that's good.  I'm personally not a fan of the market.

I'm sorry to hear that!
