Hi everyone! I am still behind for the month, but getting double time for a race today sure helps. I can only access the spreadsheet from work, but won't be there until tomorrow. Can anyone please update the following for me? These numbers are total, not just from today:

  • Swim - 1 hour 31 minutes
  • Bike - 3 hours 51 minutes
  • Run - 2 hours 8 minutes
  • Strength - 1 out of 12 (I need to change the 16 to 12. I forgot when I came up with these numbers that I don't do strength training during taper weeks.)

Thanks so much! I'll get my butt in gear this week and add any extra training time that I can to make up for my deficit!

No problem. I've been making sure everyone is up to date, and I gave you double credit for your race. Congrats on your finish!

Hey guys,

I have been hitting the bike pretty hard this weekend. I am sorry that I didn't have time to update the spreadsheet until Monday morning after the team totals have been posted but at least I was able to get the workouts in. I am definitely feeling sore today but am hoping that by the time I get off of work some of it will have gotten better as I really need to get another ride in today.

I leave for NYC on Thursday and will be back on Monday night. I am hoping to get another good chuck of what's left out of the way in the next couple of days but will have to see how crazy things get. I did get a hotel with a gym so that I can get a short workout or two in while I am on the road. Not to worry though, I am sure that I will manage to hit my numbers by the end of the month. Even if I had to kick my butt to do two long rides the last couple days of the month it will happen.

Keep up the hard work and lets make this happen!

I forgot about the "Double Bonus" for races, so I should be able to exceed my run goal.  I set it as a stretch for what I could actually do this month.  When I hit it, it will be my most time and miles running in a month.  the race double will be icing on the cake.

I updated this morning. Glad to see we're no longer last! I'm planning to add an extra 15 minutes to all training through the rest of the month to hopefully make up for my deficit. The race yesterday did help with the double points!

being able to acheive 110% will make our actual percentage shorter, so be sure to get in as MUCH training as you possibly can without risk of injury or divorce

Good work Pineapples. We're slowly moving up the ladder and I have complete confidence that we WILL get there.

My schedule has been disrupted yet again. My son is home with a ear infection so no lovely ride and swim today. I'll have to squeeze in another session on the trainer tonight. Oh well, life happens and this is why I choose to be a stay at home mum.

Great job on the tri Jocelyn! You'll be closing in on that deficit quickly with all your hard training and racing. You Rock!!!!

Nice job Heidi! That running thing really does grow on you once it stops being pure torture doesn't it It's funny I spent the first 35 years of my life convinced I was simply NOT a runner and couldn't do it, now I find myself running a race every weekend and actually enjoying it!

Wow, that is one heck of a trainer ride. I can usually get myself to do it in the colder months of the year when I have everything set up and all I need to do is turn on the TV and jump on the bike but it sure gets tough when we are this close to summer. I gotta give you some major credit for your dedication. Keep up the hard work!

Okay pineapples. How goes the training? You can do it team! Just 8 days to go!

I managed to walk my half mary this weekend. Yahoo!
Got the release from the doc to start doing some training. Yeah! I'm so looking forward to getting the bike on the road and finding the pool again.

Hi everyone,

I've been getting a lot of questions about penalties for the losers.  The two teams with the lowest overall percentages for the month will have to change their avatar to something with a flower (April showers bring May flowers...).  If you are on a losing team, it doesn't matter what your percentages are, just that you are on one of the teams with the lowest percentage.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I really don't want a flowery avatar next month (although there are worse ones).

I have 2 long runs and 3 short ones left in the 8 days of this month and I am struggling with motivation (and scheduling) to go do the first one.  Cry

How's everyone else doing?
