Got my butt handed to me in masters today but another 2500 brings me to 38%.  It's depressing when the guy leading our lane's moderate pace was as fast or faster than my race pace.  Makes for some great but painful training

Nice job, and same here.  I felt really weird, in a bad way, this morning.  However, my swim turned out great some how.  Three half mile sets and I wanted to knock thirty seconds off each one.  I hit it exactly, even doing last year's half mile race pace on the last one.  So what started as a crummy day is now looking pretty good thanks to training (cannot believe I'm saying that).

Oh, and when you haven't done the butterfly for nine years, it gets really, really hard to do.

Nice work Rocks!  Those percentages are really starting to climb.

I, on the other hand just came back from my pool (which was unbeknownst to me) closed! Aaagh. Feeling down and bummed. 2 extra hrs of sleep would have been great...the whole world is still sleeping. But, it shall be open tomorrow so I can hang out on bt for an hr or so....can't fall back asleep...

That stinks that the pool was closed.  I would have welcomed the extra sleep and I'm hoping to get it this weekend :-)

I just pushed up the team average another 0.36%!

This AMs weather was with heavy dark clouds and rainy and something whispered to my soul to get to the pool again today, LOL!  So another 1300 yards is in the books, and I have to say today things felt great.  I was having minimal stroke issues, and just wanted to keep going but throttled myself back in order to not overdo it too soon, as it is my shoulders/lats are feeling fatigued right now.

I may be able to swim again on Sat.  I have to take my Son to a huge FL YMCA swim meet at the Aquatic Center in Orlando and we'll be there ~ 6 hours.  There are 3 pools there so I'm hoping that at least the teaching pool will be open for swimming.

Have a great weekend!

Great job to all so far. My day yesterday got really carried away, and should be able to get caught up today on this post.

I would like to congratulate everyone who has steadily posted this week, and keep up the great job. This is one of the better Team's I have been a member of, and it makes me proud as a 25 yr Triathlete (Competing for 25yrs, I'm much older)  to have you all here.

Go Team Swimming Rock!! and keep this mileafe coming.

Okay TEAM SWIMMING ROCKS! you need to get out and inspire the following people:
colesdad, gracetheterp, kpb421, madkat, runnerg1rl7, stilltri-ing, wurkit_gurl & jacsuza. They are all under 20% and some under 10%.

Let's go inspire them!

AGREEEEED!!! Mila, time for you to get that wip out and I think floging needs to be administered. GO Team.

Under 28% for today:  AlexB  ;  barbercl  ;  Donto  ;  kpb421  ; madkat  ;  runnerg1rl7  ;

Under 20% and need lots of TLC and inspires!!!   Colesdad  ;  gracetheterp  ;  stilltri-ing  ;  wurkit_gurl  ;  jacsuza

PS: Data from above is from the update I did on the spread sheet at 09:20 AM PST.

As a Team we are on track, but as the month ans people start reaching 100%, we will be falling behind the rest of the competition. You are all commited swimmers as this is our challenge, and you will surprise yourself on your next race after this month challenge as you stay on your goals, if not even surpass your monthly goals. They were goals set to achieve a goal, and I know you will all achieve that.

GO TEAM!!

I just went to look at the stats, because I knew that I was under 30%...and my name is not on the list....I am tooooooooooooo honest! The figure that was there yesterday is NOT the same as the one as I left it...so I changed it again. My next swim is tomorrow (Saturday) night and that will put me above 30% . But I am wondering if I am doing the log properly. I open it, and then add on my distance....is this correct? Example....it is at 6350 right now. If I do 2400 tomorrow night, I change 6350 for 8750? I hope that this is the right way.

Any help would be appreciated. Sorry to be under 30%!

1800 yds this morning for me - a new post-surgery high!

I'm just a hair under 28% at 25% currently, but I plan to swim again over the weekend so no worries.  Plus, I will be continuing to build my yardage each week as the month progresses.

Yes, that is correct. Problem is when one person has their computer set for yards and another meters, it can mess the numbers up and we have to make sure we are picking up the right numbers. AND we like honesty!

Great note, Honesty is what we like on the team.

But on the other note, please update how you want your logs done. Some reported yards on the challenge, but your logs are in meters. Please adjust either one to keep it easy for logging purpose. Thanks.

Great training all, and keep it going. Just remember that 28% is for COB midnight today. Just keep it crawling team. Thanks.

Happy training, and keep it coming.

Looking for some info from you better swimmers- I am definately not yet a strong swimmer. Really focusing on the swim, working with my trainer. Do you think I can improve my swimming by going only twice a week - if I swim for an hour each time? The distance from my house to the pool with the pool schedules, work schedule and kids' sports schedules is going to make 3x a week not likely many weeks. Some weeks, yes. This really bums me out- I WANT to swim as much as I can. But what will happen if I have to go down to two? Throw some thoughts at me. I 'm trying to be realistic- any advice welcome.Cool  I did 1850 yards on Wednesday- would like to keep swims at least there and build to more.
