too bad...hell I was riding horses up till a week and half before IMLP.  Much to my ex-BF's chagrin.  But you could get injured stepping off a curb.  That's my feeling on being too safe...

anyone want to ride early Monday? it is supposed to be 60! Saturday is now going to be cold....I'm going out to ride 25ish after school MOnday, maybe starting at 4.  Maybe Columbia again... 

Damn all of you with your flexible work schedules I am trapped here until 6 every night.  I think I'm going to be riding on Saturday though, with the century group - we're going to have our weekly long rides on Saturdays, but I don't know if that starts this week. First practice is tonight - spin class at Arlington S&H, who is kindly lending us their facilities. Keep in mind, these folks aren't all triathletes, and roadies tend to harbor less animosity towards spinning-as-training. I don't care - I'm a poor enough biker that anything is a help. But people are donating - yay! I can't see WHO is donating right now, but I've been told by some folks that they did! Thank goodness!

How does it remind you of this? I'm having a hard time seeing any similarity

Yeah, but you love riding horses. Of course anything can happen in day-to-day life, but I am not going to go out and do something that carries with it a risk of injury just for the heck of it.

I could do that...can you go early though? I want to enjoy some daylight!  and as far as flexible...none there.  hours are 8-4.  and I always welcome people to spend a day with me if they're thinking career change.  It usually helps with the decision. Especially if they watch kindergarten.

So my talking-about-nonsense skills are getting great, apparently.  There was a thread in Tri Talk today that people were starting to get a little testy in.  One of the same arguments you see over and over.

So I posted, "I like Doritos."

And then the arguing stopped, and BTers posted 2 1/2 pages of absolute nonsense after that.  Good stuff. 

Which thread? I really love nonsense

it's like 'dont take it personally part deaux' or something like that. 

No more ridiculous than this one. 

I think from now on I will start using "I like Doritos" when things get out of hand. I have no problem being a copycat.

It is amazing how much well-placed nonsense can alter the course of a thread.
