Sprint_DA - 2008-07-25 6:20 AM Morning everyone, man I think I am taking a personal day at work today...don't know if it's what I ate last night, how fast I ate it (I was hungry), how late I had dinner, or something else, but I didn't get any sleep last night and I don't really want to move more than 50 feet from the br. Sorry if that's TMI for anyone, but if it is, deal with it...these things happen.

What did'ya eat? Do you think it could be food poisoning? Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well.

I ate pizza.  If it's food poisoning it's pretty mild as I'm not puking, but it still sucks one way or the other.  Trying to check with my friend to see if she's experiencing the same thing.

I'm sure there's sketchy pizza out there, but on the whole it seems to be a fairly innocuous food.  You're friend wasn't K was it - if it was you might want to run a tox screen (j/k).

Ya know the problem with being good at what you do? You get all the bullsh!t handed to you because "I know you can handle this". Well, do you know WHY I can handle it??? BECAUSE I TRY IT, AND WORK AT IT UNTIL I GET IT RIGHT!!!!! Do you know why the other guys that are SUPPOSED to be doing this can't handle it??? BECAUSE THEY'RE LAZY PIECES OF TRASH!

Ugh. It was supposed to be a low key Friday where I could get caught up on some things. Now one of our piece of shat salesmen threw me under the bus. I'm so f*&#$& sick of this crap.

"So and so has never done that before." Ummm... sounds like it'd be a good time for him to try it, then. There was a time when IIII had never done that before, too, but guess what? I DID IT!!!

FOCK!

I wonder how many people salesmen have caused to die over the years from all the extra stress we put on other people.

You seem like a good guy, so I exclude you and Fish from my statement... but I FOCKING HATE SALESMEN!!!!

This son of a b!tch that threw me under the bus lives in this huge a$$ house in a gated community, drives a Escalade EXT and a new Mercedes, and is a freaking waste. I called our president already and asked him why the hell we even have salesmen if they're just going to pass the buck onto everyone else.

What REALLY pizzes me off is that I'm going to do all this work to do a quote, and the customer isn't even going to buy from us because they're a 'low price' buyer. That's NOT our business model. We aren't the lowest price. We have the nicest product... and you pay for it.

I hope that son of a b!tch has a heart attack on the golf course this afternoon.

Very familiar with that concept.  You know who I wish would stop trying to help me?  My delivery drivers stop in to places to do prospecting, and I appreciate the gesture, but they don't consider all the ramifications of what it is they're doing.  One account in a town of 2500 people that buys $150-200k a year from me?  Great.  Don't go talk to anyone else in that town.  No reason to lose the big guy when you start selling to his competitor who is going to give you 10-20k in their first year.

Our management gives us fits.  They have a business model that works great in the states where we're really saturating the market with deliveries and product, and all that.  You get out here and we have one warehouse for the entire state, and it's not all that big.  You're not #1 in service if the customer has to wait 4-7 days to have the product transfered in.

It was funny, we finished dinner at like 9:30 last night and she starts talking about trying to figure out her plan for the night.  I'd figured this would be a simple matter.  I'll take my bike off the back of your car and you go home, since that was basically our agreement two or three weeks ago.  But she says, "Well, I'm thinking of showering right now.  When are you getting up in the morning? Because I have early class." In response to which I said "uhhhh" Then she decided to go home.  I think my theory may have been confirmed, I was possibly #2 on the "Guys K wants to date list" and #1 either didn't come back to school, or realized she's just not 100% stable.

***mr2tony***

you doing the redman full.. I might make the drive up to cheer people on that day. Plus I know some people doing the full IM distance aqua bike

My status as doing the full IM is now in jeopardy. I may. I may not. Have to decide by July 31.

Hmmm.. What if a REWARD was offered for finishing the full IM?????

OK, but if requires energy then it'll have to wait for a couple weeks.

Sometimes the Rewardee just needs to sit back, relax and let the Rewarder do their job..

Ya know, this would almost get me to actually do a triathlon.

New marketing tactic, perhaps.

Yeah, I know that, it's just funny that it went from didn't want back to seemingly can't function without in 3 weeks of me going back to my old GFY/A-hole attitude. I don't know that I can/want to just turn that back off.
