Spokes - 2008-07-30 12:27 PM Let's see, I just killed a quart container of left-over pasta from last night with sauce and fresh cut tomatoes. I have two quart ziplock bags of strawberries to kill as well.

Hey Spokester.  What's shaking?

I HATE HATE HATE being more outgoing than my friends. I wanna drive to a superbike race on Sunday in Ohio. It's like 5 hours. My buddies wanted to go until it's actually time to go, and now I get every excuse in the world. "I gotta get up for work Monday". Um, guess what, so do I , and earlier than you... so HTFU.

Ugh. Same thing, every focking day. Today I wanna ride to bike night... every excuse again. "It might rain", "I'm tired" wahhhhhhhhhhh.

Tomorrow half will bail out of the wingoff, Friday half will bail on the baseball game, Saturday half will bail on the lake. Sunday is the superbike race. fock.

They're not your friends then.  Find a new group of friends.

bcart  - sorry for the delay.

Ryna - this used to happened all the time during my senior year in college.  It caused some real conflict with the roommies who were my friends but never wanted to go out.  They would just sit at home and watch TV despite numerous invitations.  If I went out without them, they would get hurt and offended.  Now I do stay home more nights than I go out, but some of those home nights are spent hanging out with my neighbors and I never complain about not going out, since I realize it's my choice (and I enjoy being at home).

Check out that post count y'all.

There was a huge breakdown in communication at the office, things were overlooked, plans rejected, fines handed out....  It may even reflect on my record as a professional engineer - THAT makes me unhappy....

There is going to be some serious fall out from this one.  I don't think I'm in the gun sights, even though it was my project and the buck stops here, but others did not do there job....

This, added to a chronic lack of attention by these same people, and the slow market, will result in some very bad things....

I'm nervous, and have been for the last 24 hours.....

As in stomache ache nervous....

I agree... I've ostracized so many from my group. I guess I'mna have to keep doing that.

It sounds like many aren't as high-energy as you. So find some high-energy friends.

Agreed. You need to hang out with more crackheads.

That's one nice thing about what you do; GIS specialists are in demand everywhere.

Bullsh-t artists like myself - I'm basically a bureaucrat that interprets regs, writes letters, and hold hands over the phone... are a dime a dozen Tongue out

Yeah, but I get no love until somebody REALLY needs my skills.
