My back is slowly improving... I am going back to work today! YAY!!! All this stretching and walking feels like cheating but I am going to try to get a swim in today if I feel good after work.

Nice work everyone for making it to the halfway point!

I'm all peached up for day 17. It was a beautiful Friday morning for a run but I ran like a slug. But a peach slug!

I'm also supposed to swim today but I'm oh so tired so I may switch it to tomorrow. Meant to be a rest day but if I do it easy then I can make tomorrow peach too!

Umm yeah, who told me to do my running AFTER my intense physical therapy.  Oh right, no one.  I didn't run yesterday due to my car breaking down so I had to run today.  I wasn't quite feeling it because my legs were a bit worked from the PT.  And I chose the route and part of it had me running up a hill.  Anyway, I'm peachy keen.

Don't know that I'll be able to keep up with the peach challenge for the rest of the month.  BUT I AM GOING TO TRY!  The hub is out of town for the next 5 weeks, so it's just me and the kiddo.  And now, I am completely freaked out b/c one of our local news reporters was found raped and throat cut this morning in her home.  Apparently a robbery turned violent.  I'm always nervous at home without my hub, but I'll be completely freaked out now!  I'm rambling...thanx for listening.

Hey fellow peaches!   Great training weekend.   Saturday was an hour and a half mountain climbing with the family, then my first 8 mile run.    Sunday was a 46 mile bike ride.

Today started with taking the kids to the park before the oldest's school.   Usually we go as a family, but my wife had a dentist appt.   I logged this one as activity as chasing a 1 year old around the playground as she climbs all the playsets is tough!  She loves all the slides, but don't want her to get distracted and fall off one of the open climb sides.   Tonight is day 3 of the push up challenge and I'll add in an ab routine.

Picture of my son from part way up the mountain Saturday, overlooking downtown Vegas:
