I have this tub of Hammer "Sustained Energy Ultra Endurance Fuel" in the closet, which I've used on a few long runs and bike rides. But I've never just relied on something like that as my only nutrition for an event, and instead work in gels, water, gatorade, etc. My stomach doesn't handle PB&J sandwiches during a workout, and in fact, I prefer not to ingest anything solid/heavy during an event. So what do you use when you're out there for a few hours at a time? |
