Please do not take this the wrong way. I love the team enthusiasim, but I am unable to keep up with up to 6 pages of posts per day. I do not have a computer at work on the internet, and unless I am on the bike spinning, I can not keep up with the threads. Even then, I can not keep up this pace. I would rather be working out. With that being said, I will post my workouts in my blog, in this thread and on the spreadsheet. Please feel free to drop by my blog if you want to talk to me, inspire or otherwise, but please do not be offended by my inability to keep up with padded posting.

Joe

No worries, LOL, would be nice to tag posts as something that should be read, vs those that are purely for fun.

30 more miles for me today.  That makes 2 stages and 60 miles.  Right on track so far.  I'm thinking I'll hit the rollers trainer in the morning for an hour.  should give me another 20ish miles.

By the way, did I mention that I was accepted in the Brook's Inspire Daily Program on Friday.

OK, I admit to ignorance. So I Googled it: http://www.brooksrunning.com/Athletes+&+Events/Brooks+I.D.+Prog... Very nice! Congratulations!

That's ok, not many people have heard about it.

Congrats...

Stage 2 down  - 95 minutes...  I was scheduled for 75, but I decided to make up for my faster (4 minutes) than expected bike split yesterday and then added on some more time as a hedge against the future...

The key is to not to try to keep up...  Just drop in and throw your two cents around...  Soon the thread will turn to the old stand by topics of food and drink...  By the way, what's for dinner?

When I run the challenges, I post the announcements in various colors. That way, people know they're "official stuff."

Seems to work.

(There have been a few challenge teams that even I couldn't keep up. (Taser Running, for example.) LOL)

If something happens that Joe needs to know about, we can just visit his blog and leave an inspires.

That's what you get for being in a later time zone.

Got to love colorado.  One minute sunny and 80 degrees the next rainy and 45 degrees.

It's JULY. It's not supposed to be 45F in July.

I would recommend staying out of the mountains then.  It was 36F Sunday morning when I took Bandit out for a walk.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is why I live "in the South."

I have lived there.  All I remember is the humidity.

Yep. There's a lot of that....

Of course I never had the heart or lung/rib/muscle issue when I lived in the humidity.

Well, hopefully that will all be gone soon. Have you been to the doctor lately? It does look like you're able to work out more now, at least!

No, I will have to wait till I get back from Training in Late July to make an appointment.

Having seen Kendra when she's on a post-padding roll, I don't think I'll bet against that.

Then again, having seen Neal on a post-padding roll, I think it's going to be quite entertaining to watch this competition.
