I know, it's only 2,000. But I couldn't have done it without the rest of the Crushers and other challenge forum friends! At least not this quickly... I will never forget that one month were I went from about 30 posts to several hundred. Hanging around here really helps keep me motivated to train, thanks everyone!

The way you're going, you're going to pass me up in no time. Congrats on the milestone post.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've been missing BT. Its been crazy lately. Then just as I'm wrapping things up on my project, I found a bug that should have been fixed a long time ago. I wish I could push it back on the person that did it but it doesn't work that way. It just means one more thing that I have to do and puts me behind schedule.

Morning All!

Paul - sorry to hear you are so busy but at least work keeps you out of trouble! We miss you when you aren't around.

Melissa - hurray for post 200 - I'm heading for 1000 sometime today and I know the vast majority of that is from this forum and crusher postings.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous day!

My little boy is feeling a lot better.  He's been pretty tired, though.  We may go to the park in a little while.  Tonight, I have a date with the bike trainer.  I need to get some power back before a time trial at the beginning of March.

I like to meet people.  I like to socialize. But the gym is not the place I like to do that. Every time someone says HI, I end up losing 20 minutes of my workout.

Had a decent swim today....and a good time had by all on my bike trainer.

We're supposed to have warm temps around 60 this weekend, I think I need to ride outside.  (don't hate me if you are snowed in, come August it will be 100 degrees and HUMID here while you are in a more comfortable climate)

Yay for a good swim!!!

I feel like the "Challenge Police" though.  ~blush~  Your number of minutes just don't seem to add up correctly.

Jeez...I'm gonna get myself kicked off the challenge!

BTW....it's 60 degrees in my area year round.  It doesn't matter if it's winter or summer.

Had a very uninspiredtrainer ride tonight...  It's late and I'm distracted with trying to get my hot water heater to stay on.  I really hope I have hot water when I get to the shower upstairs!!!

Hi guys.  sorry I haven't been around much.  I got behind at work apparently and evenings have been real busy.  the weather hasn't cooperated at all during official week 2 as it's just been colder than "hillbilly hell" as my dad would say.  I'll get in an hour or so tomorrow and who knows on Sat.  We may break freezing on Sat.  It has taken me a long time to catch up on the thread.  Hope those that are ill are better (and I can tell Yanti is doing great now -- excellent)  If I still have your attention - would you help me out and check out this link?  http://grouprev.com/duanedeters  I am running for a charity - a camp for mentally retarded kids.  If you can help - great - if not- I understand - times are tough.  Happy training, and I hope to post more, (and not so long....)

Which state are you in again? Sorry I know you told me before. I have my fingers crossed that degrees in the negatives go away soon! (Ontario Canada)

Good luck with your goal! I do my charitable donations through my husbands work and through my running events so I won't be able to help, but keep us posted on your progress.

On a side but related note, April - June I am taking an additional qualification course for teaching in special education.

Something silly my friend taught me the other day that some of you may like...

Take the last 2 numbers in your birth year and add the age you turn this year to it.

Your answer is: 111

Highlight above line after you have made the calculation.

Woohoo!! You all got me addicted to this challenge just by reading all the post. So as I'm a bit to late to join I would like to sign already for the March group. Meanwhile I will train on collecting points. And work on my spamming qualities.

You can sign up....the options are on page 1 of the thread.  It may be a bit hard to go back on the nutrition points, but if you have your training logged you can put in the week 1 and 2 training for the appropriate thread.

So... warm temperatures are only 560 miles away. How long do you think it will take your air to get here?

i woke up late and wanted to run so i did my own time trial this morning with a good time for me. 10 miles in 92 minutes is smoking for me. felt good and worked on speed on a lot of sections. maybe there is a runner in me yet.
