Tony just got home w/ my new bike.  I might cry.  Smile  It's so pretty that I am scared to touch it.

REALLY LOVE THE DESIGN....especially that seatpost.  What pedals are you putting on it? making any other changes?  I think you are going to pass Tony on that speed demon!

How's the achille's these days?

Thanks everyone!

It is an XS - I am 5'3".  I have no idea about what we will be switching.  I leave that stuff to Tony and Eric.  Tony's already told me some of the front stuff like aero bars, brake levers, etc need to be switched out.  And don't worry the reflectors will be coming off.  Tony would divorce if I left the house on the bike w/ those on.  Tongue out

I'm guessing I will go w/ the same pedals.  They are not the round ones type.  It will be a few weeks before I can ride the bike.  I've got to get a fit scheduled.  I can't even sit on it w/ the seat post so high - it has to be cut.  Not sure about a name - I'll have to work on that.  :-)

I'll post more pics when everything gets fit for me.

Achilles is A-ok.  Two runs down and no soreness.  Although I walked the kids to and from their schools yesterday since the weather was so nice and I was so tired last night.  My feet were sore and I woke up w/ tired legs.  Pretty sad - I would think w/ everything that I do a little walking would not do me in!

Thanks everyone

LOVE THE BIKE  FYI when you upgrade soon I am your size    hehehehe

Thong.. hmmm Even if I do it (and I have been challanged to do this during a run) Mostly because I seem to strip all my cloths (layers) off while I run up here in the cold. As long as it is above 32 Up here I am usually down to tights and a long sleeve shirt.... So mid summer should be fun....lol

But no worries everyone If I ever do follow though there will never be photographic evidence.

Just purchased a 2011 Felt S22 this morning from sunrise tri. I get fitted and pick it up on the 1st. The took some measurements (inseam, height, forearm, fibula) and said that I have really long legs and the bike size for my legs is a 61 but for my torso it would be a 56 so they went with the 58. I am so excited!! Also picked up Look Keo Max 2 road pedals, Louis Garneau Tri Speed Shoe, and a cateye strada double wireless computer. The remaining accessories that I got from the MG will be picked up on the 1st after the fitting

No idea what to expect. Never to to a formal yoga class.

I have done quite a few hot yoga classes. What to expect? Sweat. Smelly bodies. More sweat. Some goofy breathing exercises in the beginning (with some "oms"). A huge wake-up call when it comes to hamstring and hip flexibility. Take lots of water and a sweat towel. Don't eat a heavy meal before you go.

I enjoyed hot yoga for the most part, and went regularly for awhile. Then I felt like I was spending 2+ hours on a workout (drive time, class time, shower time) but never getting my HR up, so it wasn't a good ROI for me time-wise.

Also, be prepared for your metabolism to feel a bit wonky for the rest of the day. I think when I was doing it I was hitting evening classes and it really messed with my evening meal and sleep.

Come back and tell us what you think!!

Make sure it's a reputable place and LOOKS clean.  Lots of articles about respiratory infections because of the high humidity and ability for germs to thrive.  Never been to one, never will.  Like plain old Eischen's Yoga and no digestive issues post!

Suzy....I guess we can talk politics anytime you want.  Agree 100%.  And the big question I have was why the hell was Jesse Jackson here speaking?  WTF does he have to with WI?  Does he pay taxes here?  Is he a member of the unions here?  I mean...go home!

Rant over here also....but these thoughts helped me keep my pace on my run this morning!

SAAAAWEEEEEET

I just got that S32 last years model. I do LOVE it. Only put two quick 15 k rides on it so far and I am very pleased. I have not gotten a fit for it. 1. No one around me. 2 I took a lot of measurements off my road bike I have had for 4.5 years and I am sure the dorky engineer in me will tweak, document and tweak.

You will have to let me know how you like yours. I find mine to be LESS twitchy then my friends Cervelo P2

I needed a bike half your size though... LOL

Hot yoga. wow. we ended up  going to a "power yoga" class. Half way throught I was wishing I could find the 'Intro to Hot yoga' class. I could not believe how much you sweat. But i really enjoyed it. That was the first yoga class  have ever attended. I'll go again for sure.
90 minutes was along time though. Holding the 'frog' for 5 minutes- talk about releasing your thighs.
Oh, and 4 guys and like 7500 chickies- 7499 of them were pretty smoking. I like it alot.

Chris - Super run!  There's nothing that can keep me motivated like having such a good day on a run like that.  How are you feeling about the half mary now?

Sam - I love that bike!  It's beautiful!  Congrats, and have fun.

Andre - If there's no pics of the bike, it didn't happen!

Up in the Upper Peninsula this weekend and having SO MUCH FUN!  I had my favorite run ever this morning.  Even though it was about 0 degrees out and super windy, it was a beautiful morning, and Nadie was having so much fun for some reason.  I ran right along Lake Superior and watched the waves crash on the beach.  So beautiful and calming.

Also, we saw the sled dogs take off last night and then got to actually attach Nadie to a sled today to let her pull some kids.  It was super cute!  I will try to post a picture if my camera actually worked...

Ready for the latest?  Doctors showed up at the protest to write the teachers "I was sick" notes so their pay will not be docked or they can't face consequences for being out of school for three days.  Had dinner with my doctor friend tonight and he said urgent care was flooded with people with a "cold" who requested the same notes from the doctors.....others just tried to call in to ask for the notes.  can you say insurance fraud?
