Veteran 340 | Subject: RE: Team Plucky Pineapples Hi there Pineapples!! I have not been a chatty Kathy, but I have been training. I do have a question, I am signed up for three (I know dumb) events, what if I only meet two of them? I seem to be shy of my swiming, but will more than complete biking and strength training. I will not let the team down, it is my plan to finish, but I just may have to reside in the pool until the month is over! |

That would help offset any deficit you might have in one discipline or another. If you don't use up your extra, it will help the team totals. So, the real solution is.....get into the pool!!! Great job on your swim today, btw! Cap'n Pineapple |

Expert 1202 Montana | Subject: RE: Team Plucky Pineapples peto_primo - 2008-04-23 4:26 PM I really don't want a flowery avatar next month (although there are worse ones). I have 2 long runs and 3 short ones left in the 8 days of this month and I am struggling with motivation (and scheduling) to go do the first one.
How's everyone else doing? Wahoo! I finished my run goal on Monday, and I am nearer than I had thought on my swim and bike. Should be able to get extra credit in all three disciplines. GO PINEAPPLES! Cap'n Pineapple |

Master 1281 Long Beach, CA | Subject: RE: Team Plucky Pineapples I feel bad. Is there a way to pull myself out of the team so I don't hurt your standings. Now my mom is at the hospital and I'm here everyday and not training at all. Just wondering. |

I can usually get myself to do it in the colder months of the year when I have everything set up and all I need to do is turn on the TV and jump on the bike but it sure gets tough when we are this close to summer. I gotta give you some major credit for your dedication. Keep up the hard work!nhaefs - 2008-04-21 7:34 PM Wishing summer was here. Oh well soon enough I guess. Got another ride in today. Lets keep it up. I know that we can all reach our goals! You and me both! Just a couple days nice enough to ride would be great. Thinking of putting in 3 1/2 hours on the trainer today and dreading it Well... I didn't get the trainer ride in, but the sun came out and wind died down a little so I got to go OUTSIDE for a ride YAY!!!!! I haven't actually done 3 1/2 hours on the trainer ever, but I bought a spinnerval dvd that is 3 1/2 hours long covering the Ironman Lake Placid course. I'm sure I'm going to have to do it before this challenge is over, but definitely not looking forward to it. For now I keep watching out the window for my opportunity to get out there! |

Elite 3489 Lakewood, CO | Subject: RE: Team Plucky Pineapples Having a 2 hour run scheduled on the last day of the month really skews the % complete when compared to the % of the month. I like it so much better when I have a recovery week the last week of the month, it looks much better on the spreadsheets. 4 days left to close the gap. |
