Dear Lord,
I know I'm an atheist and all, but if you could do me one favor and destroy Preacherman's cam forever, or at least until the end of the day, I'd really appreciate it. Best,
Godless Heathen.

I'm bored. Entertain me clowns!

It's about 1:45 this afternoon, and I'm walking out to the parking lot, and I notice a car has a really low rear tire. I notice it's one of the bartenders where we go for lunch. I call and let her know.

Later, I'm coming back from the courthouse, and I walk by the same car, and I *think* I hear it running. Get closer, yep, sure enough rinning. Nobody around, nobody inside.

I know the girl so I reach in, grab the keys, and walk them up the block to the restaurant. "Hey, you might need these later..."

I get the "How did you get my keys?" look. Classic. I tell her she left them in the car.

Unlocked.

With the enginge running.

Since 8:30 am.

Classic.

There was a huge breakdown in communication at the office, things were overlooked, plans rejected, fines handed out....  It may even reflect on my record as a professional engineer - THAT makes me unhappy....

There is going to be some serious fall out from this one.  I don't think I'm in the gun sights, even though it was my project and the buck stops here, but others did not do there job....

This, added to a chronic lack of attention by these same people, and the slow market, will result in some very bad things....

I'm nervous, and have been for the last 24 hours.....

As in stomache ache nervous....

Dude. Keep us informed.

I thought you stated that you did your part earlier and things were going alright, didn't ya?  I think you'll be fine.  It's the other nimrods that'll get the warning or slip.

bcart  - sorry for the delay.

Ryna - this used to happened all the time during my senior year in college.  It caused some real conflict with the roommies who were my friends but never wanted to go out.  They would just sit at home and watch TV despite numerous invitations.  If I went out without them, they would get hurt and offended.  Now I do stay home more nights than I go out, but some of those home nights are spent hanging out with my neighbors and I never complain about not going out, since I realize it's my choice (and I enjoy being at home).

Check out that post count y'all.

You are (or were) an upside-down devil.  You postin' a 1K celebration in COJ?

Wow... I'd say she had a few too many bloody mary's before work...

Uhhh yeah. Though, did YOU notice it was running the first time you walked by and noticed the low tire?

First time I walked by, I was too far to hear it running, being on the street and all.

She's 24-25, HOT, and engaged.

People walking by probably thought it was a police sting setup or something.

That's a shame. I don't think ANYONE should get married before 30. (Ha, like I paid attention to that).

Well, maybe not before 25. But there are folks who got married before 30 who are happy and not divorced.

Jamiroquai makes some goodly musical sounds.

And he's a car nut. Double win.

Ryan my (girl)friends are worthless most of the time too.
For example. Tom was out of town for 2 weeks so I email them saying "hey I won't have much planned for the next 2 weeks so let me know when something is going on!" - know how many responses/communication I got in TWO WEEKS?

One.

Despite me emailing every 3 days saying "what's going on - y'all going out?"
Why are we even friends????

And no, I don't just call on them when Tom is gone. I am ALWAYS asking them to do stuff. Like today I emailed and asked who would be down to seeing Coldplay in Kansas City. Got one 'no' back and probably wont' hear back from anyone else. Gaaaah. This is why I prefer hanging out with boys. The big problem is that three of them moved in together, and they are the most ridiculous little pack now. They won't do anything without the others. I HATE that.

just in case I wake up some morning and you're in a diabetic coma

This is scary stuffz. I can't tell you how many times growing up my dad would get me up in the middle of the night b/c my diabetic mother was having an insulin reaction - she seemed to react to me asking her to eat better than anyone else. He's had to call an ambulance a handful of times. Not fun.

I assume you know the symptoms and what to do?
