kns57 - 2008-08-13 8:57 PM My oldest grandson started Kindergarten today.

I love that age!

how is mom doing with that?

oh - I didn't see the pic at first - he looks very proud!

Mom is doing quite well. She is actually looking forward to the other one starting pre-K so that she can go grocery shopping without taking 3 kids along.

Ha!  I understand completely (although I rarely go shopping with my kids... I go when BoyToy is home or they are at activities or, well, he goes for me a lot... and takes the kids... he is teh roxxor).  However, my little one is old enough to be entertained by the big kids so them going back to school means more work for me!

The pics are adorable Kendra.  The boys are so cute and I love seeing just those little feet sticking off the end of the stroller.

I told my daughter she owes me a pic of Emma and the feet in the stroller don't count. LOL

They are cute feet though.

kns57 - 2008-08-13 9:10 PM  I stopped at 2, so I wouldn't know if 4 was any easier or harder. LOL But if they are close in age, they are built in playmates until they hit the age where they hate each other.

imho - things change a lot after two, - sometimes I wish I would have had another - I know C thinks I should have - lol

I remember those days - it's so hard to believe that I have 2 in college now

seems like just yesterday I was juggling how to take the 3 of them to the grocery store without imploding - lol!

I can't believe how old my kids are sometimes. And grandkids. I was looking at pics of when they were young today and it really just seems like yesterday.

Once you have more than two you're outnumbered so it just doesn't matter any more ... at least that's what most moms of 3+ kids say.  I have two friends that are pregnant with their fifth babies right now.  One of them will probably have a sixth... but I am pretty certain the other one was kinda surprised (maybe I should explain how it works to her?!).  When your oldest is 15 that 5th baby wasn't really on the radar screen prior to peeing on the stick, methinks!

Woke up with a stiff neck today and it has just gotten worse all day. Frank tried to massage it for me, but all I did was yell (scream), so we stopped.

So, I'm going to take my stiff neck to bed. Nightly night nibbs. See you all tomorrow (or in about 6-8 pages, LOL)

I would have loved to have one more because Exhibit C is so much younger than the other two that it would be nice for him to have a sibling close in age.  Oh well .

Morning, Nibbs!

Slept like a rock last night until my alarm went off at 5:10...unfortunately I accidently had it on beep instead of radio, so it woke the whole house (or most importantly, Chewie and Sugar Daddy - neither of whom was pleased). After calming both of them down, I went for a nice run - it's so nice that the mornings are cool again.

On deck for today - Chewie's first vet visit (nice service provided by SPCA and vet - they give away a free-get to know your local vet-visit...). Other than that, lounging about the house and trying to get ready for school to start. I have to teach starting 8/25. Monkeys don't go back until 9/2.

Morning Nibbs!  I woke up early and ran.  Then I did the ab workouts from yesterday.  So I'm caught up on yesterday's workouts and just have to do today's after work.

Shady Grove vet is by my house (across from the Bottom's Up on Nuckols) so I'm headed there.

Wait.

I thought running was the dark side? Mmm. All this time I've been on with the good guys? Must reconfigure my thinking.

Cycling is the dark side... that's why it's so fun and why I love it .

I'm lounging around the house, too, Kristen, but at least you got in a run.  I'm in my jammies and drinking coffee and have no plans to alter that at the moment.

I'm dressed - took the Monkeys to daycare...I'm "working at home" today...

The cleaners come soon, and I have to introduce them to the dog before we go to the vet...seemed like a reasonable excuse to work from home all day, right?

Absolutely!  I took Exhibit C to daycare, too... meaning he's in the basement playing Wii.  If I go down he looks at me, points to the steps and says, "go check your email!".
