Schwamm - HIYA!  You awake, or did you type that in your sleep?

Wurkit - Maybe tell your Bible study ladies that you want to meet some new peeps.  Try the whole "Seriously, you guys know some single dudes that you always say 'I just don't know why you're not dating someone, you're such a nice guy!' to all the time, and here IIIII am, so get us hooked up, Yo!"  Or something.  Then just go and have fun with whoever you meet from that.  At least a few entertaining nights of meeting people...that's fun, right?

From Bible Study?  This is just tooooooo funny in my perspective.

It's been a minute that I have been to the Winn Casino and Hotel...

Some of the coctail servers there are disturbingly beautiful...  But I don't really gawk, that would be rude.

Isn't it Wynn?

Yes, but I was too lazy to go back and edit.  But apparently, not too lazy to write this response!  Go figure...

Bible study folks were no good IMO.  I tried that.  Most were over the top for me.  I have a "dark side" that I was afraid to show them.

Even if my faith and convictions were as strong as them, I still like to let loose a little and get wild.  I didn't see that in many of the people I did study with.

Bars seem to be the opposite.  Most of the people I met there,  needed a little religion in their lives!  They were 24/7 party people.  I can't do that.

The boss is out of town for the week!

Last week, he had me process the office time sheets.  He didn't ask me to do it this week, but I'm not sure if it's getting done.  I think I will be "good employee" look into it and see if I can do it.

Be proactive, and all that stuff.

I had a can of sweetened condensed milk in my pantry that has been there for a year.  I decided to try in out in my coffee instead of creamer.  It didn't work out as well as I had invisioned.

It's not bad, but not as good as I hoped.

That is all..

for now.

If it weren't for preacher, you would be the top of my friends list!

Depends on what you can do for me , but I could take him off so you can get the top spot!

Could be tough, though.  He is my get out of jail free card with the "big guy".  I need to keep him in my back pocket, in case life gets a little crazy...

lvthgme - 2008-10-13 12:17 PM Well, since Wurkit mentioned religion/faith being an important issue, I went with the Bible study peeps.  But one could do a similar thing with co-workers ("Do you have any single dudes who you think are great enough to set me up with them?", relatives, etc.  I've been on a few blind dates and at WORST they've given me some hilarious stories.  At best they're just fun.

There aren't a lot of young folks at my office, sadly. There WAS a HAWT, 20-something Christian guy here, who was super-nice, but he left about 8 months after I started, so I never really got to know him. Though I did meet a guy from my church who does know him...hmmmm...

I know this is some of the triathlon back patting and horn tooting that I sort of try to avoid.  But I ran 17 miles on Sat.  Longest run in my life!  I actually felt pretty good about myself for once.
