OMG! I just found this thread. I love PB like nothing else (well, except Guiness and hot salsa). I can't touch it, though. Maybe I'll treat myself after I drop 10 lbs.

Please, Oh please tell me that you didn't give up Guinness as well!!! I would never recommend giving up PB, but if you had to give up one....Good Choice!!!

Ah, Lane. I have significantly reduced my consumption to not more than one per week. 

Don't worry yourself, I have Guinness on tap at home, so I am sure I am taking care of your share and mine.

Just got back from visiting a friend in Hershey, PA.

Have you tried the new "inside out" Reese's peanut butter cups ---- chocolate on the inside.....peanut butter on the outside!!!!!! MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

ohhhhhhhhhhh dear....

If you eat the PB off the outside and eat the inside by itself, you will notice it is Choclate flavored PB. YUMMM

On one-day adventure races or on the first day of an expedition race, I usually pack a Banana-Honey-Double Crunchy Peanut Butter sandwich. It grosses my teammates out, which ensures that they won't eat it!!! and it tastes like heaven, while my the rest of my body is enduring hell

I got two jars of natural PB in the fridge.... life is good, for the moment.

I currently have 11 people in my house with visitors and the PB jar had been emptied a few times in the last week before I got near it. Life is bad.

anyone know of any recepies for peanut butter? I'm trying to figure out ways to perhaps add it to a hamburger... marinate a steak in PB..... baste a turkey w/ PB.... but nothing is looking very realistic in my head

maybe i'm just daydreaming too much and stretching the possibilities of PB... sigh

I might do that – getting to the bathroom is an obstacle course!!

They go home today – 6 of them gone. I love them dearly but its taken a toll. Still got a break before the next visitors – a whole 24 hours!!

Mix a healthy dose of PC with a bit of OJ then marinade chicken in it – BBQ it and you have a pretty good Chicken Satay. Same for beef and veg etc. You’ll have to experiment to get the consistency right but that’s all part of the fun!

Jameson, you can add PB to almost anything and it still tastes good. Lots of Thai dishes are made with it and African foods, too. I love adding PB to savory dishes. George Washington Carver came up with hundreds of recipes for regular meal-type foods. If I have time, I'll find a link to some recipies.
