There have been some questions about places to eat in Racine.  Hopefully the list below will help you out on your visit.
Chancery is average, but the create your own pasta dishes are tasty as are the sandwich wraps and burgers.  I'm not a fan of their fish, but I'm picky about fish and seafood.
Ivanhoe, which is on Main St. right around the corner from the Chancery, has amazing fish tacos.  Everything else is pretty good as well, but I recommend the fish tacos.
Out of the Pan, which is just across the bridge on State St, is outstanding.  Everything on the menu is top-notch and the drinks are excellent.
Salute, downtown on Main St, has good Italian food.
If you're in the mood for steak, one of the best places in Racine is Corner House which is on Hwy 20 just south-west of downtown.  They're known for their prime rib, but everything is good.
For steak and ribs in a much more casual setting, and my favorite ribs in Racine, check out Oh Dennis! on Douglas Ave.
If you head West to the suburbs there is the standard Olive Garden, Applebees, Qdoba, Noodles, etc.
Race day is coming fast!!!  See you all in a few days.
