Nowhere near as bad as I feared!

How about you?

It's been crazy.  I worked most of the weekend and I've worked 10 hour days on average.

I might have to work more tomorrow and come in Friday even though I was planning on taking off for the day.

Im sorry Ive worked about 10 hour days too but thats not so far off 'normal' for me... and the pressure has come off some which is a nice relief! Will try to send some 'realxed' vibes  your way!

I really hope you get the day off - it sounds like you really need it and if its full on in the office too thats not great

Hi Nibbs!

Yes, it was wonderful to turn in my resignation yesterday.  Was talking to someone from night shift this morning--the whole department is at a real low in morale and the upper level just does not see that we're getting killed and all they want is MORE (such a managerial thing...)

Course the flip side to the new job is now I have to shop for real clothes cause I own uniforms, work out attire, dressy stuff and jeans. Not a whole lot in the business casual line right now...That means I won't be buying any extra tri related toys right now but I pretty much have the basics so that's okay

Oh Boy!!! Nibbs haven't been clothes shopping since Cat's party way back...

Let's see black pants, tan pants, brown is always a good color too (esp come fall)... then some basic button down shirts...

Don't forget the grey pants, too. And with the tan, you need a light tan and a darker tan. But stay away from white. White pants are bad. Very bad. With a capital B.

Hahahahahahahahaha. It's so easy to take that completely out of context! LOL
This one guy came up to me at church and he was like "Pam, I almost didn't recognize you with clothes on!" He immediately turned red and explained I was his daughter's swim instructor when everyone turned and stared at us.
Good one!  I once recognized a lady I took care of in the hospital by her gallbladder incision when I was working at a Dr's office!

Now that's a little weird.  But at least you might not have that happen again for quite some time.

I can totally see how that would happen. Then again, nurses have their own little way of thinking, don't we?

Well, I was going to ask if you were getting jazzed about the race(s) this weekend, but it sounds like you're working to hard to get jazzed, no?

Bummer you might have to work Friday (is this your spring break? that makes it even worse...) - but if it makes things easy for you, I can drop off my pick-up stuff there?

See you soon!

Good morning.  I too am getting my hair done.  I haven't colored it in a little over two years and I am going to do it this morning.  The girl who used to do my hair is no longer there, so I'm nervous about having someone new do it.  They have all the color info in the computer, so I figure that we aren't completely starting from scratch.  Figure I can get rid of the gray and it will give me more energy to train, right?

If you notice, I said nothing about going faster. Just having more energy. I'll never be fast. Just call me the tortoise.
